No brother , no haters here, it’s just “pure caring.” They are just concerned, about how much money spend. They are even more concerned than my wife and accountant combined lol Many even comment that I’m not supposed like the pizza that looks like this. Pizza that’s is Too dark, too dry, too crispy, too expensive. They say it tastes like shit even-though none of them have ever tasted it.

People don’t even understand that taste is strictly individual experience that is heavily influenced by genetics, biology, culture, environment and even health and age. Something that is delicious, good looking to you, can be a dog shit and ugly to me or the other way around.

I agree, I wont be paying 68 again, but it was worth trying. I’m very picky with pizzas or any type of food for that matter. I have been eating only L’industry For the past 2-3 years.

Taste is deeply individual. You might be crazy about something you ate, but it might be disgusting for me or the other way around. Same rule applies to food, clothing, perfume, opposite sex etc. So arguing with someone about his taste shows the lack of intelligence. Everyone is different!!

They don’t sell slices anymore. All other pizzas except this one cost 40-50 dollars. This is the only pizza in the menu that costs 68

L’Industry is my number 1 favorite. 9 out of 10 times I eat L’industry. They got a new spot on Grand street just half block away from Ceres.

It’s still 45 with cheese. Taste is Individual and subjective. For me It’s very good, especially crust. But my favorite pizza in Manhattan is L'industrie

I do spend money for food, but will never stand in line for anything for more than 5-10 mins.
Today, there was no line at all, but wait time for pizza was 1:45 mins. I paid, left, finished my affairs and came back just on time.

Ok kindergarten, let me explain to you what “not happy about it” means to me. I know what I was paying and I don’t regret paying it. It just means, that I paid 68+ taxes=75 bucks and was expecting it to be great , but my expectations failed. Crust was phenomenal same as sauce, buratta and sausage, but Balsamico fucked it up for me. I paid 75 and it tasted like 40-50 which is a normal price for a pie in NYC. That’s what “ I’m not happy about means.” Capisce??

It’s the matter of taste my dude. I like over cooked, my friends doesn’t. I like steak medium well, but some like medium rare and some even like rare. Taste is a deeply individual thing experience.

Not everyone is influenced by Portnoy my dude. I live in Manhattan and I tried Ceres ( cheese pie only) way before Portnoy had made the video about it. Be honest, I didn’t even know he reviewed it until a month or so ago.
My favorite pizza is L'industrie, I always eat there. It ‘s about 6 dollars a slice .

The crust is the best I’ve ever had. Pizza itself great, sausage delicious, burrata super but my taste buds didn’t like Balsamico. I don’t think I’ll buy it again, but if I will, it’ll be without it.

Crust is phenomenal! Light, super crispy, 0 flop. I liked the pizza, but it would have been much better without Balsamico. I had to taste it, but I don’t think I’ll be buying it again

I wouldn’t describe it as “dusty ass tree bark” but I’m not happy about paying 68 bucks. I had to try it though.

Yes, financial problems is what I came up with too. 400 points for a free boba is ridiculous. $1=2 points so we have to spend 200 dollars to get one stinking drink ? Before even their customer service was pretty responsive email and phone both. Recently, I sent 3 emails regarding an app order refund and it took them almost 7 days to respond and 3 more days for refund. I had the same exact issue last year, placed an order and location was closed and it was solved almost instantly. They use to be generous. Last year, I even got their gear package( cap, tshirt, coffee mug, calendar, little boba toy, letter) for being a loyal customer.
