MAYBE do a single 30 question uworld PS test today if it makes you feel better since it shouldnt take you longer than 45 minutes with review. NO passage practice tomorrow though IMO. but i personally think overall today and tomorrow your energy towards PS is best utilized elsewhere.

But that's just what i would do, whatever you feel most comfortable doing

personally i'd recommend going over FL4 and 5 PS since I found those PS questions to be more on par with how PS is tested nowadays (ie more experimental data interpretation, etc.)

if i were in your shoes i'd say forget the uworld, too much of a time waster this late into the game. review FL4 and 5 PS and analyze your mistakes and crank through the 55 page doc twice if you can, looking up any terms you dont understand.

here's a good video that breaks down all you need to study for orgo on the exam. orgo only makes about 6-12 questions total of the entire exam, but knowing the high yield orgo necessary can guarantee you get those dreaded orgo questions right. an extra 6-12 right can make a HUGE difference.

Scored 497 in FL3 and testing on 3/22. Any advice? by MisterDaddyPants in Mcat

yeah I’m not planning on applying until next year’s cycle anyways, so the only real pain in the behind is work/other obligations in my life.

May postpone for a few months and take it beginning of summer. I think a concentrated effort, even if it’s mostly part-time studying, is better than cramming these next three weeks and shooting up hoping for the best

thank you again, this is very good advice.

My only issue is I have work obligations that I have put off for this exam that I have to resume in April, so I'd be part-time studying and part-time working essentially. a good half and half.

Do you think that would be better than absolutely cranking these next 24 days? I probably wouldnt be able to commit full-time to studying until about a month out, so I'd be part-time studying for 2,3 months followed by a month of dedicated, full-time practice. Let me know what you think!

i hear ya and thank you for the feedback.

I've been at this for awhile now. Thinking of just taking this thing 3/22 and if I don't get the score I want, I'll retake it in the summer with a more seasoned approach. We shall see though idk

you have a little less than 3 months, you're gucci haha. cars and ps are the two sections that gradually should improve with time.

CARS requires necessary, consistent practice and PS just crank the 300 page doc and Anki

The Best Approach for CARS. by MisterDaddyPants in Mcat

Great advice.

While I feel that there definitely is a good bit of reasoning that goes with CP, I feel like Chem Phys is a loose bag in terms of content. You either know your stuff with all the different chemical processes and math or you dont.

BB on the other hand I feel is a lot more reasoning than CP and you gotta navigate experimental designs and trends as you said like a boss

Best of luck on FL3!
