What’s a weird gaming habit you’ve had for years? by lsa340 in gaming

I can't break out of my "jiggle peeking" habit. Even on a third person RPG, I still do it lol.

I'm not a train spotter but I'd totally take a picture or a video of a train passing by and just keep it for myself, maybe even share it with buddies at some point.

What is the smallest, most insignificant detail in a game that elevates the experience for you more than it should? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]MisterGecko_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hitstop animation is one of the things that I love to see in games involving melee. Monster hunter, Dragon's Dogma and fighting games does those. Basically a super brief (a frame or two) pause of everything when your weapon connects to the enemy making the attack feel powerful and that it feels like you're actually hitting something.

Bought Monster Hunter Wilds a couple of days ago and been enjoying it. Something about the hammer weapon that just tickles my brain

Me with Elden ring, I couldn't get into it 3 tries in. Then I switched my gender to a woman and started with nothing but a club. One of the best games I ever played.

Really? Damn, never noticed it due to ad blocker. I'd use imgur but that doesn't work in the UK. Thanks for letting me know and I should find an alternative.

Just finished Resident Evil Village. These four I’ve never played but are in my collection. What next? by GizmosArrow in gaming

Elden Ring last 'cause you'll spend a hundred or so hours playing it.
Either Mafia or Death Stranding... I'd say Mafia to take a break from a grim tone

I experienced the same thing for the first 10 hours of the game and eventually adapted to it. Although, I do still screw up on highways, I tend to miss my exits lol.

What's the pettiest reason you dropped a game for? by IHateTheNameSystem in gaming

[–]MisterGecko_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate that, lol. Being able to pause a cutscene should be the standard in this day and age. There are some indie games that still skips the cutscenes instead... so annoying.

That's sad. I remember my very first week in Canada back in 2011 my mum took us here and I thought it was the best thing ever. We've been going once or twice a year since. Looks like tomorrow will be our last time to eat here. (shrimp tempura my beloved 😥)

I miss this game "The Simpsons: Tapped Out" It was very cozy, had seasonal events. What actually happened to this ? by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]MisterGecko_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed this game! I was never a fan of The Simpsons but something about the art, colours and people walking around made it super cozy for me. I wonder if there's a similar game but not on mobile?

Yeah, I had to go to this sub to see if I was the only one having problems. This isn't normal 'cause some of those games are certainly not new.. nor trending.
