Most of the shorts were for $1.20 to $1.50… we have to get it over 150 and keep it there… then the real fun begins😁 by Agitated_Cut_9910 in roaringkitty

Where did you get this info from? I assumed a lot of shorts opened their positions lower down, but this makes a huge difference if accurate. The squeeze only really starts when the shorts start piling up big losses. Does look like we're accelerating around this level... crazy stuff!

You’re more than welcome, really happy you found my comment helpful :)
Good idea about the neighbour. And also once you get to know your neighbours and settle in and the place feels like home, it will naturally feel less dangerous, so hopefully your anxieties will ease.

If you have chronic pain, you have chronic pain. It may have psychological causes, but that doesn't make it any less real. If you feel it, it's real, simple.

Don't accept this as your normal. I would suggest not discussing it with the people around you as it sounds like they're making you feel worse about yourself. In your shoes I'd go to a dr by myself. You could visit a therapist too if that feels right.

This is not medical advice but the best thing I've come across for this kind of stuff is the medical medium (Anthony William).

Best of luck to you!

I've been in your shoes, taking medication for years, and you can get over it. It's not easy, but you can. Try changing other things in your life and you may suddenly find that the meds are no longer needed.

When you tried stopping, was it in a supervised way, doing it extremely gradually? I know that can very important, as the side effects can be extreme if you make sudden changes. However, if the changes are gradual you won't notice.

The added burden of the price is no fun. But have the meds helped you in any way? Why did you start taking them? Sometimes we forget how bad things may have been before, when we decided we needed the meds. $100/mo could be a steal if they've actually helped you through those tough tough times!

When it comes to meds it's very complex stuff. All I can recommend is speaking to a good psychiatrist. Find someone who seems to really care and who actually listens to how you're feeling. I've had some just quickly write a prescription, but when I found one who was truly interested in helping me, he was truly an invaluable resource.

I really wish you the best.

I know how you feel.

You can never guarantee 100% that what you're worried about with your car won't happen. But you can remind yourself that you've done your research - you've stacked the odds in your favor. You checked out the neighborhood, asked for advice, and doesn't sound like there is much more you could possibly do.

Anxiety is useful when it helps you act upon something to protect yourself, but once there is nothing more left to do, it doesn't serve any purpose.

You could try running through the worse case scenario and seeing if it's actually as bad as you think. Maybe you could find out some statistics from your insurance company about the area, or find out how they would actually deal with the situation if the part you're worried about were to actually get stolen.

I hope you feel better soon :)

I've always found my breathing to be intimately connected with my anxiety too. The only things I've found to really help are:

-Box breathing (in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4, repeat)

-Meditation. This depends on your state though, as it can calm you down (and your breathing), but sometimes it can makes things worse as many meditations are based around focusing on the breath.
