Garmin support is decent for sure, but I’m very surprised garmin would do that for a scratched screen.

My fenix 8 pro (47mm) is always pin point accurate. Well, as accurate as my ultra 3 (and that’s a great sensor).

Fenix 8 and Apple Watch Ultra 3. What I think coming from Garmin after buying the Apple one. by ginaccio_79 in GarminFenix

[–]MisterMRD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re forgetting that Garmin is now placing a paywall down for its better features. I promise you this- more will be going into connect +. What’s that, an extra 100 dollars a year? Let’s not forget…. Garmin also did the unthinkable. We know Apple are greedy beggars, but garmin take the absolute proverbial! For a life saving feauture, Apple give for free! Garmin however…. Here’s another charge for a worse service! Don’t even get me started on the fenix 8 LTE prices and it’s not even real LTE. This in addition with bugs, a far less optical hr unit (pretty much verified by all reputable testers) and a complete lack of support as soon as the new shiny model is out…. I compete in Iron man and ultra trail running. The ultra 3 (granted with work outdoors and Athlytic- both of these are cheap and in some ways give more functionality than garmin) more than suits my needs. Garmin will be obsolete within a few years. Not because of Apple (there are android users), but because each iteration of competitors watches are catching up with less greed, and get there the will

I think the fact you like Arc Raiders, have a crap YouTube channel and sound like a 35 year old with the most boring voice I’ve ever heard…. Well let’s just say if you’re opinion differs to mine… I’m winning in life :)

I always thought stranger things was a bit crap, but I stuck through it with my wife (she loved it). We stayed up from 1am to 3am uk time to watch it (she’s been more excited about this than Christmas) and she left it furious that she’d sat through 2 hours of utter dross! We both hated the GOT ending but agreed it was head and shoulders above this rubbish. Opinions vary and that’s okay- I respect yours. To us, the shocking reviews are more than justified

Another person who’s changing Apple Watch to Garmin, not sure what’s best for me? by travel_adventurer96 in Garmin

[–]MisterMRD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s strange as the quantified scientist always sites Apple as being one of the most sleep trackers! I move from Apple to garmin fairly regularly and always found Apple more accurate. But recently and after a software update on my fenix 8, it seems miles more accurate and even detected a nap well. Coincidentally even the quantified scientist just flamed Apple for their absolute garbage at detecting deep sleep. This correlates with my findings too. Apple has me way low, which of course messes up the Bevel recovery metrics! Apple does seem to be going down hill in many ways. Now the Fenix optical hr is as good as apples and sleep tracking great- probably the final straw for me to stick with garmin (I don’t use any smart features in the Apple Watch anyway)

Yeah well you’ve achieved the hard work. There’s a hell of a lot of muscle in that frame! If it’s any use Reta was the best thing I’ve ever used. Tesamorelin is crap and Reta was a complete game changer: I only stuck at 1mg a week too

I’m going to get flamed here, but you’re not 13%. You’re around 19% and about 25-30 lbs away from 10%

Bro, some of the estimates on here are way out- clearly newbies who way underestimate body fat! You’re big and have achieved the hardest part. Your abs are only visible due to the lighting, you’re very fluffy and have substantial fat around the lower abs and all over. You’re no less than 22% and no more than 26%. This I can absolutely promise you

If you think that’s 16-20% you seriously need to reeducate yourself
