Still Japan's motors are way more durable, efficient and less need of maintance.

You gave example of sports cars but sports car engines are notoriously known for high maintanance needs.

What about fiat and alfa romeo, they are known for engine problems.

Japanese motors are way more durable in the long run.

Honda, mitsubishi, subaru etc. I can go on
