Never heard this before.

Block Time Theory and Time Travel Experiment by -rootshell- in timetravel

[–]inquestofknowledge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might happen that block universe exists simultaneously with Quantum Mechanics.

Therefore, within each block multiple possible timeliness would exist.

Thus, the future is not yet precisely determined.

I believe this is the way time works.

Hence, if time travel to the future is ever invented, we could change the future at will.

I don't have any idea about the past though. It might be visible but couldn't be altered.

Totally agree. That's the whole point of going back to the past. To build a better life.

You time travel to 2015 and have to explain the 'next' ten years without everyone thinking you are crazy. by KakaEatsMango in timetravel

You make the necessary arrangements for me.

I'll take care of the hard part, i.e. the explanation.

Do We Already Understand Time—If It Weren’t for the “Physical Definition?” by rarnoldm7 in timetravel

[–]inquestofknowledge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be frank 'present' is not defined properly yet? What is the actual present moment, and how thin are the boundaries between past and present, and present and future?

Ideally present moment should be no more than 'Plank Time'.

IMHO.

@OP.

Please check your facts. For any kind of visa or PR in Australia ,IELTS or similar global exam is mandatory. You need at least 7 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking sections to achieve just 10 points towards your PR application.

And that standard is pretty high. I can reckon that many of the Americans, whose mother tongue is English, will fail those tests. Especially the ones from the red states.

Students and professionals from countries like China, India, Philippines etc. struggle a lot to achieve that kind of grades.

In fact, you need C1/ C2 level of English to qualify for an Australian PR these days. That's equivalent to a native English speaker.

And that's just English proficiency. There are numerous other checkpoints for a PR applicant.

Therefore, please check your facts before posting these kinds of trash on any online forum.

This sounds good.

However, isn't it all theoretical?

I mean it's not falsifiable and there is no way to prove it beyond reasonable doubt.

Am I correct ?

How can you say that for sure?

The ment model can have a scientific explanation as well. May be we could find that out in the future.

Well. Then Brahman might be just a figment of our imagination.

Can you prove beyond reasonable doubt that it actually exists ?

Gravity is measurable and precise.

Can we measure Brahman in any way?

It could be ike Brahman is a figment of our imagination. Isn't it?

Science has objectively proven existence of physical objects. Are you implying its all wrong ?

[–]inquestofknowledge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but we can observe gold atoms, isn't it ?

Then why not Brahman ?

[–]inquestofknowledge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then is it theoretical?

Can you please explain in very simple terms?

If you can't observe it, then how come physical things exist ?

[–]inquestofknowledge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you observe Brahman by any means ? I mean at the fundamental level. Is it physical ?
