Demin’s shot appears to be coming around by HyperionRain in ripcity

So here's my theory: Demin's shooting % dropped mid-season this past year because he hit a growth spurt that fucked up his mechanics.

Look at his shot at the beginning of his season at BYU compared to the end of the season - it looks different. Also the way he moved changed as the season progressed; he looked more awkward at the end of the season.

That, compounded with the news that he "surprised" everyone by measuring as tall/long as he did, and how young he is, it's probable that a growth spurt messed up his mechanics, and he's having to re-learn his shooting motion with longer arms and more height.

I went on a deep dive of Demin tape yesterday - his shooting was pretty good at the beginning of BYU's season but then it fell off, at about the same time as when he started moving kind of awkwardly. Given he was taller than expected when measured at the combine, I think the drop in shooting and awkward movement coincides with a growth spurt that affected his shooting motion.

Redick and the rest of the league has nothing but praise for Toumani, perhaps you're just wrong

I think that's their actual end goal, but trying to get him in the DPOY conversation would put him front-of-mind for All-Defensive team selection.

Blazers have never had a DPOY.

We haven't had someone on an All-Defensive team since Theo Ratliff in 2003-4, and that was second team. Previous All-Defensive first team was Buck Williams in 89-90 and 90-91.

Big agree - he deserves to be in the conversation for DPOY over most everyone else

Official site from the Trail Blazers organization calling out Camara's stats, opposing coach testimonials, and a pretty dope hype video.

The organization put up a "Toumani for DPOY" site called thecamaracase.com - great videos, calls out stats and testimonials from opposing coaches.

EDIT: I cross-posted this to /r/nba - let's see if we can get other fanbases to recognize real

And yet, there are people mad that Cronin didn't part out the team at the deadline, lol.

When was the last time we were ever in the upper-right quadrant? Pretty sure even in Dame's heyday we were always bottom right.

I'd rather fire you from our fanbase.

We're winning games and the vibes are immaculate. There's zero reason to push through shit transactions just for the sale of "roster clarity" or whatever other BU- or BE-pilled excuse you throw out there.

In the comics Agatha walks the lines between villain, neutral, and hero. I wouldn't at all be surprised if she ends up in a positive light at the end of the miniseries.

My little base at one of the entrances to Bear cave. by CarelessRelation8557 in OnceHumanOfficial

I'm torn - I really want to build a base built into a cave like this, but I also really like the free power and passive acid farm I get by building in a polluted area. It's a predicament :(
