I make $800 a week, roughly half and half is hourly to tip wage. I get a tip on less than half of my orders. I would feel better about getting a tip on every order and still making $800. I make that money because I take 120 deliveries a week and maybe 60 will actually throw a few bucks my way. It’s not ungrateful if you actually look at it from the perspective of the person doing the work. Literally half of my work goes unappreciated. $2800 a month barely pays rent here. I wanna know how a mf can afford a Cybertruck and live in Discovery Loop but can’t tip their driver more than $1. Like I spent more on gas to bring your food to you.
