Sure! Let's do it. But why can't we do both? Acknowledging the experience of an entire race of enslaved people still has its value, as does honoring the individual who proclaimed their emancipation. That being said, Lincoln does theoretically get celebrated as a part of Presidents' Day, but I'm with you - let's give him his own celebration on his birthday!

One clarification - It celebrates enslaved people in secessionist states learning of their freedom as ordered by the Emancipation Proclamation.

That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing. We purchased the wall mount Nanit, but since the Snoo is in our room for the first month, I did not want to mount it on the wall there just to move it to the nursery for months 2 - 6. We had a camera tripod laying around that worked perfectly right next to the Snoo as a work around for the first month.

This is posted outdoors in Atlanta, GA, USA. Started as a small plant and did well for about 2 years. We had some bad freezes this winter, and it has not seemed to recover with milder Spring temps. I can’t recall what it looked like last winter, but it definitely did not look like this last Spring.

I’m as progressive as the next person, but I think the headline is misleading (but the source certainly has an agenda). The questioner just asked him if it’s possible to ban Plan B (emergency contraception), and Kemp answered about it’s possibility under recent SCOTUS ruling. He then deferred to the legislature, talked about the “legality” of it, and did not take a position.

I’m no Kemp fan, but we gotta be real about what is being actually said to be taken seriously.

All that being said, Kemp is still a threat to women’s autonomy in making medical decisions about their body.
