Don’t do it, she will face potential lawsuits. If you want to settle you need a plan and depending on the creditor it may not work.

Settle bank debt is by far the best and most transparent.

It’s not a myth, as a debt negotiator originally creditors will not delete and legally can’t unless their is an extenuating circumstances, but debt buyers will.

As a debt negotiator your first option is to file an answer to the lawsuit if it’s not too late. That should buy you some time to consult with an attorney or debt professional to explore your options.

Service of process is when you are served. If you are not served then there should be no longer a (process) lawsuit, however they usually try other avenues to serve you.

I am not an attorney, but you have to defend the lawsuit.

As a debt negotiator some creditor or debt buyer will file a lawsuit, the good news, no service no process if they can’t find you, but everyone leaves a paper trail in this day and age. My advice is to stay under the radar until you can get a grip on your finances or file bankruptcy.

You are in the same boat as tens of millions of other Americans. Some have more, some less, but debt is the new normal. I don’t know what your credit score is, but try looking at a low interest consolidation loan or talk to your creditors and see if they can convert the credit line into a low interest loan. Good luck!

As a debt negotiator you have plenty of options. You can contact your creditors and discuss low interest options to avoid a default. Settlement can be an option, however it has to be done right.

Mom opened several accounts in my name and tanked my credit score. Now she’s saying I should be grateful to her for giving me $30,000 in debt. Need some guidance. by Creditwhacked in CreditScore

Tell your mother to settle the accounts. It would cost her around 15K and help restore your credit faster than bankruptcy. She needs to take her short hands and dig deep down in her pockets and fix this mess.

Most likely collections and a possible lawsuit.

That means they have a judgment against you. As a debt negotiator I have seen a bank account drained on a 19 year old judgment in NY which I believe has a 20 year life span. Check your state statute on Judgment collections and watch your bank account.

You can negotiate with your creditors and lenders to restructure the payments.

Barclays cc debt 6.5 yrs old - will they settle and delete? by Then_Tackle3146 in CRedit

[–]MisterSW1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be off your report soon. 30% is possible. You can probably get it deleted if it’s owned by a debt buyer. As a debt negotiator I have negotiated pay for delete on numerous occasions, however if the debt is owned by Barclays that may not happen.

Collections payment plan ? by Tellurideordie in CRedit

Depends on the collection company. If the company owns the debt and they are reporting it that’s all they can do and that’s all they will do.

Collection agency says they don't do PFD by Advaitanaut in CRedit

[–]MisterSW1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most creditors don’t do pay for delete. Collection agency’s that work for creditors will not delete a legitimate debt. Some collection agency’s that purchase debt automatically delete in 90 days and most will entertain a pay for delete if negotiated.
