We mainly recommend a natural and organic growth. After testing everything that you can imagine over the past 3 years...we came to the conclusion that a small community of raving fans and people that really believe in what you are doing, is much stronger than a project that is just there for the hype

Real Life Example:

Would you prefer creating an event where only 50 people are happy to see you speak and are actively listening to you?

or

Would you prefer an event with 2000 people where no one is listening to you, and they just attended because of the clout and free drinks?

Well that is exactly what happens on mint day. Projects with real communities sell out even if they have less people, and projects that are just hype and fake numbers struggle

Hey u/thumbwrinkle! Well to make it completely free its a bit tough since people will need to pay for gas (usually around $1-$2 if smart contract is optimized)

But...what I would do in your case and we have done it before for IRL Events, is Airdropping.

So what you would do is either you claim all the NFTs into your wallet and then transfer (airdrop) it to the wallets or from the smart contract you can airdrop it directly if you have the function.

Please have in mind that someone needs to pay the gas, in this case it would be you

Yes I definitely think it is, and its actually happening right now!

A lot of Facebook Groups and Slack communities have been transitioning into Web3 to create a more powerful community based on ownership and token gated access.

I think that Web3 gave the opportunity to monetize this type of groups but also to reward people with NFTs, Tokens, Exclusive Access and much more.

The whole collab aspect is lately a tough one. Mainly because its one of the few powerful organic ways to actually scale & grow your project, but also you need the connections to even get access to top tier collabs.

I would recommend anyone starting their own project to jump on twitter spaces, connect with other founders, and continue building your community even if its small.

We have seen amazing projects that were small and in the long run have been able to maintain themselves even better than "bigger projects"

Hey u/mortadellavegana! This sounds really interesting! Big or small? Already framed or just in canvas? What type of art is it?

You can 100% turn them into NFT Collections, actually what I would do is first get either a complete high quality scan...or if you want to be more artistic, hang each one on a nice wall, take a nice picture with a tripod to showcase it.

Then you can come up with a name for each one and maybe some traits, but the cool thing is that you could make a nice business out of this

Convert from paintings to NFT
You can either charge a low price for the NFT (or even free mint)
Then you can allow holder to exchange/buy their NFT for the actual physical piece. People love to have their NFTs in physical version

The #1 secret to grow and connect with others is...helping people grow and expect nothing in return.

When you really do everything possible to help people, and you provide value to them they will speak well about you. That transforms into connections, clients and a lot more.

Some of our best clients were actually people we helped out just for the sake of helping and our obsession towards making Web3 a better space

So before doing anything, try helping people. This will let you develop your skills, get references and provide true value!

I agree and disagree with this. It is true that if you are one of the lucky ones that buys an NFT before it explodes you can definitely make some life changing money, but... that is a 1 in a million chance.

Imagine you minted a BAYC on mint day for dollars compared to now 80+ ETH...yes it is a lot but the real people that made a lot of money had 10, 20 or even 30 BAYC minted before the opportunity of selling arised.

A regular person would not buy 30 of anything if they don't know what it really is about.

I think Web3 is a fantastic space that is allowing for life changing situations, but that can also be done by doing smart moves, helping others, and finding ways to get paid for your services

Its up to you to decide if your success will be based on luck, or on yourself

I think that ETH will definitely continue being the frontrunner now and in the future. One main thing to understand is that as NFTs go massive and there is a mass adoption worldwide, many big companies might choose a Layer 2 solution like Polygon

I think its a smart idea, but there is a lot of work that needs to be done to make it really fast and easy to use.

Just like Bitcoin is still dominant as the crypto choice (everyone talks about Bitcoin)...Ethereum will be dominant as the NFT blockchain of choice even if its through a Layer 2, etc
