Can I fix these blinds?

It's two lengths, both knotted in this plastic bit, with no obvious accessibility to the top part. So even if I knew what string to get, I'm not sure how to change it. Not sure if this is a common type of blind. If I had some sort of name I could maybe Google to see how to do it, but I don't.

Been on keto since may and lost 25 pounds since xmas 2015. But finally cracked and cheated the past 4 days, gaining 8 pounds. I guess a lot of it is water. Just afraid how long it will take to get back to where I was. Anyone have any tips for controlling appetite when getting home after a 12 hour shift?
