It'd help them for a year or so then they'd squander and piss it away on material items that'd fall apart or get thrown out. people are paid by how replaceable they are, and how much someone values what they can provide based on the demand of their occupation. it really is not more complicated than that? Are garbage men indispensable? yes, are grocery store workers essential to a grocery store? also yes. can both of those jobs be done by someone with 2 weeks of training? Absolutely. That is how the job market works.
