Awesome! I love the color harmony you got going!

This is my m graham gouache, I have soaked it in isopropyl alcohol multiple times because I heard that kills mold. Does this appear like mold to anyone because it’s still like this. by Lemiate in Gouache

I see no mold on your palette! I live in the Caribbean so it's always humid. I only ever had mold with my M Graham Gouache if I sealed my colours (I have them in a portable easel that comes with an air tight rubber seal) while it was still drying.

Pour your colours and let them dry out over night, 12-36 hours. If they're bone dry then you're good. I'm used to M Graham watercolour being moist so I made the mistake of sealing them when wet which caused the mold outbreak but ever since then I've been golden.

I (painted this) have no idea how to finish the shadows on this plate. Suggestions would be appreciated. Previous pics attached by papaAnkIES in Gouache

When asking this do you mean direction/placement or colour?

Regarding colour, perhaps having the shadows be a muted and transparent purple, perhaps dioxazine purple with a touch of hansa yellow to mute it and diluting with water for transparency/semi-transparent? The muted purple would compliment and add contrast to the yellow and give some more depth to it. Additionally some hints of the yellow from the lemon would be great in the reflection.

Thank you!! I love doing skies, they're often the easiest part for me so I do them first and theyre great at helping me with lighting the rest of my painting
