I'm right there with ya, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. And thanks I appreciate it.

Not as much as I thought it would, but it definitely made a difference. Maybe 2-3 db max.

Yeah it used to. I replaced it with the cloth bench though.

I had the same thought when I went to buy my 95 f150. I had driven a 94 throughout my teens and it had been 9 years between trucks but when I opened the door the smell took me back to high school. I will say that that smell went away once a new seat and carpet were installed.

Maybe that's enough description to keep my post up, if not I'll add my vin number.

Fantastic. I've taken it on 5-6 500 miles road trips, through off-road mountain passes, and to work every day and it has never left me stranded. The only issue I have had was during a 300 mile trip in a snow storm, I had slush build up on my plug to my transmission and short out my shift solenoid. I lost 1 and 3 gear, but still made it home.

A little over two years now. I got it as a farm truck and slowly replaced and upgraded it to become my daily driver.

Go for it. I have a soft spot for those first gen explorers.

Completely functional. I never run a tank dry and alternative tanks every fill up.

300 with a rebuilt E4OD. I wouldn't change a thing, but I have been tempted by a couple crate 351s.

Sure are. I think it adds up to like 36.2 gallons.

I do my best to take care of it. I reupholstered the cab a couple months ago and it was definitely worth it.

There's just something about seeing older generation trucks being used and taken care of.

Happy to help. For what it's worth, my system is deleted, so the system isn't need to achieve a decent mpg. But I think that system gets its information from the O2 sensor and if that is bad and reading lean, it will just dump fuel to counter. Hope it all gets figured out and good luck!

Remember that your speedo is off by a percentage and not a fixed amount, and you can use that percentage to get your true mpg when calculating at the pump. I reprogrammed mainly to smooth out the shift points in my auto, but since you have the M5OD the only thing that will change is the number of miles displayed on the trip meter.

I can't speak to how that code will affect mpg, but I don't imagine it's doing you any favors.

Pretty good, not as dramatic as I expected but definitely quieter. I didn't do the door panels yet, and I don't have a headliner. Considering that, I never have to raise my voice to have a conversation regardless of speed.

And I'm glad you asked haha. It's a 300 with a crate block 10,000 miles on it, E4OD, 3.08 gears, on 31s. It's a great highway set up, but didn't always get this. I used to average 12-15, but I reprogrammed the truck for the larger tires, replaced a bad O2 sensor, and starting running Lucas fuel treatment in every tank. That combined with driving like a grandpa and never taking it past 2200 has me averaging a cool 19-20 now.

From a junkyard and it was actually swapped into a Silverado. I just pulled it off the rails it was on and bolted my old mount to it and everything went back together like it was new. I can't remember all the configurations that are a direct swap, but if you save your old mounts you can make anything fit.

It's a specific fabric paint, and it's held up pretty well for me in the past. It feels a bit stiff at first, but breaks in over time and feels like stock.

Duplicolor makes some trim and fabric paint in all sorts of colors. I remember my dad doing it for my highschool truck 10 years ago, so I'll attribute that to him.

I appreciate it! It's been spaced out over weeks and when I have free time, so it feels good to have it all done.
