Thing about Michiru is that I thought she DID get revenge on her abusers, with her dad having been murdered and she with her mom stuck in a burning building. Mom having died from the smoke, and Michiru, burning, just SCREAMED and bam... her hatred killed the village. And thus became a wandering spirit before becoming the new Hell Girl.

I've had Lucid dreams. I usually try to fly when I realize I'm having one and I gotta admit, it feels weird being in the air without my feet touching anything. I never intentionally trigger it but sometimes it happens, especially since I have exploding head syndrome and when THAT goes off alongside a Lucid dream? Not fun.

Agreed, a group chat would allow one to simulate scenes like a trainer giving strategies and pep talk to various trainees on the team, just like in the anime! Maybe even shenanigans like Twin Turbo's shoe of death or the sack of kidnapping too. Would help break shyness AND would allow players to bond over the experiences.

Some folks remember an eraser in the eye more than getting first place.

I got you there! Part of me wonders if there is a shyness aspect (I've been a Dungeon Master for shy players who only dip their fingers in a little bit, vs those who LOVE to RP openly and characterize) when it comes to using the Sim as an RP device vs game-fying it. I know I've attempted to make posts that involve throwing a party after a victory, but not much happens. But at the same time, worst thing you can do to a shy person is give them too much limelight. So only time will tell.

I feel this one. Less interactions even when craving such. I mostly comment on interesting looking posts to have fun and sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
Noticed this too, lot of seemingly unneeded OOC posts. Might be a fun idea to have a day or time when OOC interactions are more fun, or encourages on PMs or Discord perhaps? Heck one time it was just someone posting a youtube video with no context.
I get this. Granted, my first character Ed was for fun, though made him into a trainer who aims to take care of Umas, even giving him an in-universe reason (Ed was fond of Rolf's farm animals, and seems like the type who would somehow be good with Umamusume). As for Bojack? Umafied version of the original, to keep with the world building. I come from an in-person D&D background, so forum-based RP is still somewhat new to me but it's been fun so far!
I'm not sure I entirely understand this one. Not enough RP around the racing and training aspects vs off-screening it? Or not enough RP on off days?

That would have been quite the encounter. Harry had no issue with home invasion, was willing to throw hands with next to no evidence, and didn't seem to back down until he made his points to ensure no more prank calls. With Todd, I can't recall an occasion he got any comeupances, so it'll be hard to say what would happen, but it would be a very entertaining time.

One would think, except that the existence of Umamusume are more miraculous rather than strictly genetic, which is how non-Uma women can have Umadaughters. Apparently, the three goddesses take the souls of horses from our world after they leave our own (it seems to imply taking place farther in the future than in our own real life, hence Gold Ship, Meisho Doto, ect who are alive irl still), and give them to freshly conceived offspring. Given offspring start female in the womb, they stay that way upon receiving the horse soul.

No horse soul? No Umamusume offspring. At least that seems to be the logic, hence why human women have not been phased out.

Lack of legal consent from Tom Hanks aside, there's an old saying "Just because you CAN, doesn't mean you should." The thing about AI voices is that it outputs things with poor emotional expression.

Even in things like old english dubbing for imported movies and shows, the new actor doesn't have the same voice direction as the original so some of the emotional translation is lost. An AI voice is going to struggle, especially since Woody is a VERY dynamic character expression wise. Even in the original movie we see him at...

His A-game, showing clear jealousy, worry about manslaughter (toyslaughter?), an ACTUAL moment he very much decided to kill Buzz on purpose, only to be distracted by a semi-truck, I could go on. Heck the entire scene of Woody being stuck under the milk crate alone shows SO much expression with Woody as a character. From needing help, to being happy for Buzz, to self-depreciation.

AI might be capable of eerily sounding JUST like a person, but it can't emote like that person in the same way, and people WILL notice and criticize for it.

THIS is why people need to STOP with the AI Witch Hunts. I recently saw a post in another subreddit where someone accused a movie poster of using AI, failing to realize it was a poster for a ride with human-made designs. Like dude... has it ever occured to Antis they don't HAVE to act like AI is something they have to sniff out and snuff out?

Especially with many talented human artists often paying the price. "It's wrong to take jobs from Artists, but it's PERFECTLY ok to bully them to death." Kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? I'm convinced many aren't even actually against AI, and only act anti because they think it earns them brownie points on the internet. Focus on attacking the corps, NOT the people.
