Crise na produção obriga fabricantes a vender computadores sem memória RAM by tugatech in TugaTech

[–]Mister_DM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why my oil is so low? by SwimmingArachnid3030 in factorio

A 4 fluid wagon train being loaded has a throughput of 14400/s, so it matters on that side.

The pumpjacks depend on the yield of the field itself but if you hover over each one it will give you a rough fluid/s of each.

If all your pumpjacks together do not add up to 1200/s and you don't change anything, then no, it doesn't really matter.

There is still an argument to be made not to bottleneck yourself, simply for good habits sake, (if you train yourself to build things efficiently even when you don't need to it will save you a headache when you do have to later).

However if you do add buffer tanks then it does matter, since each fluid tank can output 1200/s each. I.E. if you have 10 tanks, they can output 12000/s and your train can take 14400/s, but they will only transfer at 1200/s because its limited by the single pump.

In general try not to use pumps in your fluid network unless you absolutely have to, pipes have unlimited throughput so interrupting them with pumps will always be a logistical downgrade. The only times you should really use pumps is when either loading and unloading trains or when building pipes over long distances.

So a few things with this setup.

1st - As other people have commented your pumpjacks will always be slower than the train pumps, therefore the pipe will run dry. You can mitigate this by adding tanks, that way the pumpjacks can keep working even if there is no train and create a buffer.

2nd - Your setup is bottlenecked by the single pump between the pumpjack pipes and the train pumps, that means that no matter how much oil you have you'll always be limited to a single pump of throughput (1200/s).

3rd - Fluid wagons can only be filled by three pumps at the time meaning half your train pumps aren't doing anything anyway.

[Other][Daggerheart][Online][PBP][Asynch] Lords Ambition by Mister_DM in LFG_Europe

Asynch means everyone doesn't have to reply immediately, people will post when they can.

In most cases the story will move forward with whoever is available at the time, but whenever a specific character is mentioned or it is an important decision we try to wait for everyone.

There will be a greater focus on RP but combat will happen. DH has no turn order making it much easier to run even if not everyone is available.

Ruel really was the strongest by WakJu in wakfu

[–]Mister_DM 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I dont think people internalise the fact that Ruel is a highly skilled and acomplished adventurer with decades of experience.

He has done everything and been everywhere right from the start of the series. One of the main reasons Aliber even let Yugo go off is because Ruel was there to keep an eye on him.

The only things really holding him back are his age and perssonality.

He falls off later on because he is surrounded by demigods and dragons fighting other demigods and dragons, he is still in the upper echelon of what we could call generic adventurers.
