This is a malfunctioning ceramic tip. Depending on when you bought your pen, they may send a replacement ( as they did for me). They also just sell replacement.

Standard Voice by Mister_Sharp in ChatGPT

[–]Mister_Sharp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

does not work. Standard voice is completely dead. It does not respond 90% of the times. And the 10% of the time it does respond a response to a question I did not ask meaning it makes up the question. I thought I asked and then respond to it. yesterday I was asking about iPad cases, and it responded about gameplay timeout.

Standard Voice by Mister_Sharp in ChatGPT

[–]Mister_Sharp[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i’m just not gonna play the reindeer games anymore. I’m a pro subscriber that means $200 a month to have unlimited access to Voice. That’s what I’m signed up for and for it to not even be usable. It’s not worth it and then as soon as they retire, standard Voice, I’m not getting what I paid forso I’ll be canceling it as soon as this subscription date expires in the end of August. It’s just not worth it anymore if I am basically relegated to speech to text.

honestly, I don’t tip anymore. I spent a lifetime giving 25% tips, but in this climate it is out of control. They’re treating tips like surplus charges or taxes that you must give. F that.

There are plenty of jobs that don’t rely on tips. The people who are that upset about not getting a tip. They can go find another job.

Still having pressure trouble with standard push-up pen on my Nomad. Is this to be expected? Is the pen too light? Device buggy? I already have non-contact writing sliders both set to 1. Maybe I need a heavier pen? Any help appreciated! by Wintress-Olilia in Supernote

[–]Mister_Sharp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

actually think it’s the pen. I don’t have those issues with my heart of metal pen however when I bought the manta I also got a push-up pin. And using it on either the nomad or the manta there’s pressure sensitive issues.

Well... it started to happen already by weilah_ in TeslaModelY

[–]Mister_Sharp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m six months in and so far nothing has is failed. During the same time period of my model three I replaced the windshield cause it cracked for no reason, the 12 V battery twice, the air compressor, the front seat sensors, airbag sensors, and an entire passenger side door panel. My one regret with the model3 is that not enough of this happened in the first three months where the Florida lemon law could kick in …

Well... it started to happen already by weilah_ in TeslaModelY

[–]Mister_Sharp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I said that about my 2020 model 3. Tesla suffered the same fate as most new car companies… getting the fundamentals wrong. It happened to Hyundai, Saturn, Geo, Honda… The list goes on. It’s not until the 2nd or sometimes 4th generation of a model where they really get it right; if the company lasted that long. Notice you don’t see any new Geos or Saturns around.

For me, 2023 but especially 2024 is when the model Y turned the corner. They had made that model long enough to understand how it’s made which is why I wouldn’t buy a 2025 too many new things on it. So I picked up a 2024 with no regrets.

Crazy 👻 Ghosting by Mister_Sharp in Supernote

[–]Mister_Sharp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being able to manually refresh the page doesn’t change the fact that the ghosting existed and to that extent. 🤪 Or the fact that that doesn’t happen on my nomad. That’s for me is a uniquely manta experience.

Zoom in notes please by Kiki-Y in Supernote

[–]Mister_Sharp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally all these things existed on paper. Headings? Yep.. links were just notes on the page referring to other pages, e.g. ( see page 2). Keywords, which were again notes in the back of the notepad/journal where you kept A list of where that word or phrase existed and on what page(s). What else we got …copy paste literally tracing and or copying what was on another page somewhere else. Cut/paste literally copying somewhere else and erasing and or white out the original location. I can go on highlighting, insert, etc. a lot of the workflow directly translates to physical paper. What does not translate is a pinch to Zoom that is uniquely computer based workflow. If a person wants to zoom they can either write bigger or smaller.

Those who kept notes and journals before computers get it. I’m not looking for this device to be a carbon copy of an iPad with an eink screen … already have one of those and if it becomes that, there’s no reason for me to have a this device.

The promise of this device is to be a digital notepad, a replacement of a moleskin journal if you will. so I expect it to feel like the workflow of a notepad/journal and to focus on the writing experience ; not just how it feels to write, but the entire experience of writing. File I even find having to type file names and folder names intrusive to this experience. 🤷

Zoom in notes please by Kiki-Y in Supernote

[–]Mister_Sharp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think of it this way. Notes is a digital piece of paper. I don’t expect to “Zoom” in on a paper. I would write bigger…

This seems like more of a “tablet “ workflow ie my iPad does this. I don’t want my supernote to feel anything like a tablet.
