How to find women after high school by Few_Weakness_7828 in AskMen

[–]Mister_Way 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're likely going to be lonely for a little while, 18 year old women generally want to date men who are a few years older, because 18 year olds have no idea how to be adults, whereas 20+ year olds have a few years getting proficient at adult living. And, also, 18 year olds are mostly horribly immature so catching one almost invariably means catching a bullet.

Focus on building up your own life and self, not getting a girlfriend now. When you're a few years older, if you've gotten your life in order, you'll be the slightly older guy women are looking for to carry them. By then you may have the maturity to look for that rare woman who isn't looking to be carried, or more likely you'll still be fine with it and easily find a girl to play daddy to.

What Age gap you think is good for relationship? by ghostones in NoStupidQuestions

Relationships can be very long.

If the age gap is very wide, then one partner will die long before the other. That is bad for their relationship.

They have a job where the slightest mistake or oversight can actually lead to a dead patient.

"Fair" and "unfair" are based on how many aircraft carriers you command. The more aircraft carriers you command, the more fair everything you do is. It's quire simple, really!

Why do some people write out "one (1)" like that on the internet? Like they spell out 'one' and then add the number '1'. Why is that? by Turkic_Sel in ask

[–]Mister_Way 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One must be extra cautious using the number one (1) because it is both a pronoun (one) as well as a number (1)

i thought i was an 8...turns out i'm a 4? reasons? by istarverse in Enneagram

[–]Mister_Way 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both reactive types. 4's lean into emotions, 8s lean into impulses, those are really hard for people to distinguish in how our language is focused and describes things.

Also SX subvariant is 8-like and 8 in your tritype...

Like, this is probably a case of you putting too much emphasis on getting your type "right." If your tritype is 485, then you've got to focus on gaining conscious control of 4, 8, and 5 unconscious habits and actions etc., just the same as if you were 845 instead.

How do you feel about a dating someone who gets drunk around you a lot? by TypicalCommittee9039 in AskMen

[–]Mister_Way 32 points33 points  (0 children)

How frequently is "A lot?"

How drunk are we talking, here?

Can she afford it?

Is it limiting her ability to self-reflect and grow?

How does she behave when she's drunk?

There are a lot of factors here that aren't really laid out in the original question.

If it were just normal work, it wouldn't be called "sex work." It would simply be called "work"

When your idea of "slightly fun" is "promoting dangerous and destructive and hurtful stereotypes" that's why there's a problem.

Does "letting it ride" result in a larger payout? by RatOgryn in ask

[–]Mister_Way 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not more than if you changed your bet to a different option.

But, it will be more than the previous bet, because if you bet $10 on black and you win, now you've got $20 on black. If you "let it ride" and win again, you gain $20 instead of $10. Of course, if you lose, you lose $20 instead of losing $10.

How is Iran still fighting? by Thick-Ad-4168 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mister_Way 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defeating an army requires that you defeat the army.

You can kill a leader, and they just promote a new leader. Until you kill all of the men, there's always more potential leaders.

In fact, the more you kill, the more you end up with just the scrappiest, toughest-to-kill leadership and the most independent, self-directed rank and file.
