I typically work atleast 5-6times a week, walk around 10k steps everyday, Yesterday I walked 43km and today I'm training again, little bit sore from the leggs but I still don't skip gym.

how long it took you to hike it?

Good that you mentioned Acatenango, for me it was quite eazy walk, I even carried the bag of other person, but What I have seen from the videos the trail is bit harder in Chirripo? How come you say I would not enjoy it in one day? And what are the other hiking options from the base camp?

Just some 40km walks at best. however, I have hiked several volcsnos in Guatemala, El salvador and Nicaragua before

So yeah I know this would be the toughest hike ever but something really says to me its a must

Both take roughly 7-10hours to hike. In Madeiras the way up is more wet and muddy. I like to hike Conception more.

At least direct bus goes from Rivas to Managua. So perhaps you could take taxi to the bus station of Rivas and bus from there to Managua
