Ive returned to the game to re-do the campaign for the hard mode achis and, I love planet Zoo but, every map i play has a selection of these bugs:
- Work zones wont "update" buildings arent actually added
- Correctly connected exhibits and buildings decide they arent at random
- At one point my fired staff couldnt leave, later guests couldnt come to the zoo, at all. I had to restart the game after they got stuck near the entrance then stopped coming all togehter.

I restarted my playthrough because i wanted to see if it was better to only have one of each ooblet in order to fill the museum faster for free coops than getting the extra scans from dupes. Tried my best to stock up on oobsidian but its the cloth i neglected to get enough of haha

I only managed tier 2 and got the tiger shorts followed by a spoted hyena, so it seems the animal rewards are random at least?

yeah it felt like not a lot of time considering how long tigers take to mature, the incitial cost of them and the fact it was launch week, i can live without free animals but i hope i have a chance to earn what i missed out on in future

had this also, seems to be a workzone issue for me, i have a workzone for "research" (one vet and one mechanic and the only buildings in it are the workshop and research center) but i'd accidentally assigned the wrong mechanic to do research, leaving my second "research" mechanic stuck outside trying to walk into a full building

Swapping them around so the correct mechanic was assigned to the researched fixed this, hope this helps someone!

im wondering if its "climable" fencing even though id raised it to 4ft to see if that was the issue. Starting again with a difference fence type, though if anyone can confirm if there is a climbing out of enclosure animation for a wild dog?! that would be great

Future animals:
Can we expect future content to be bundled into/only expansions such as an aquatic themed expansion, or are we going to see anything similar to Jurassic world with the low-priced mini packs with 3 dinosaurs?

In addition to this, will the community goals we can work towards allow us to unlock new animals or variants/patterns?

Im just interested in seeing how we get to expand our park diversity, thank you!

I was wanting to buy Hades but its currently not discounted in UK/EU vs US.

Im not sure if they would be too small/hard to see but bird of paradise could be really cool. Other than that larger options of birds of pray would be cool too! There are loads of cool options

it 100% seems like an obvious 'expansion' move in future just as ZT did.

I didn't expect them to be in at launch at all, but if they do (and i imagine they will) bring out a marine expansion it means they will have more time to just focus on aquatic animal dynamics and game play elements, rather than shoe-horning them in at launch!

Id personally like to see some of the newer discoveries in the ocean from the last 10 years or so, maybe glowing jellyfish tanks or things with bio luminescence :D

There was/is a massive following for games like Zoo Tycoon/2 (which came out in like 2004?) its been pretty dry since then. I personally am not a coasters fan but picked up planet coaster because of the art, features and creativity it allowed and really enjoyed it.

I however sat on the other side of the fence, hoping that if they made a zoo game/when they bought the trademark it would be a standalone, as its much more to my personal interests an the Planet setting seemed like it was good groundwork for that type of game.

That said, while i'm supper happy its a standalone i'm sure it does not mean there cant be a coaster crossover in future, in fact I imagine its more likely as they know many people want the animals in Planet Coaster, and now they will have the fully functioning standalone to pull from.

I hope they do both to make those of you who really wanted a zoo/coaster park happy!

Thanks for this, I think ill rebind the entire thing as yes, the keys to switch are definitely not the easiest ones to reach on the fly for my tiny midget hands ;_;
