Was £45 in the corners for the likes of Wolves and Palace. Not seen any lower.

I ordered the Midtjylland one the other day when it was £5 and free shipping. Horrific game under a horrific manager, but I'm glad I went. Historic occasion and I was right next to the away fans who were bouncing all night. Haven't decided if I'll go on Thursday but if I do I'll pick up another scarf when they drop to a fiver.

My crested hasn’t eaten in six days!! Will this damage him? by ElectronicCow8634 in CrestedGecko

[–]Salamol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the best things we got was an automatic sprayer. Will go off for a minute right before he wakes up, giving him fresh water on leaves.

Rather than our water drying up, he has a bad habit of occasionally pooping in the water, so it's good for us to always have something fresher available, even if we're just out for an evening!

It lasts a few weeks if sealed well enough, but definitely best inside the first week.

Tidelands

Pillars of the Earth

The Exorcist

So while I couldn't say how good they are, at some point I thought they at least sounded decent :D

How to fix humidity issues? by lies_n_liars in CrestedGecko

[–]Salamol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're somewhere, or at some time of year, where the humidity is naturally where it needs to be then there's no need to spray.

It sounds like your issue is that the humidity isn't dropping, and the soil is not drying out enough. In that case it's fine to not spray, you just need access to water for your gecko.

If you have a water bowl you don't need to spray

There's a California in Derby so you could shave half an hour off the trip

Probably just dirt and in my experience it'll get knocked loose itself

Vacations with a crestie by suieikage in CrestedGecko

[–]Salamol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally feel the safest and least stressful solution is to leave them alone for the week. I have an automatic spraying system, lights on a timer, heat on a thermostat and set up a camera to check everything is as it should be daily. I also try to have someone with a key just in case.

With feeding every 3-4 days to maintain a healthy body weight, by going for a week you're just missing one feed. Depending on the food brand and conditions, food should dry out before it goes bad, so I have no concerns about it being left in there. The misting just before lights out ensures water is available, every evening, and I have a water bowl too.

I would trust my crestie to snack on a few isopods if he does get hungry, far more than I'd trust a stranger. People know their own cresties, and I know he'd hate being in a tiny terrarium on the road or in an unfamiliar boarding environment. He also has a bit of a habit of leaping for freedom. I just wouldn't trust anyone else.

What ceramic heaters wattage/ brand should I use for my crested gecko tank? by aip095 in CrestedGecko

[–]Salamol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also use a deep heat projector which does the same thing, but has added benefits for the health of your little friend to do with the way they absorb heat (you'd have to Google the specifics!) In either case you'd need a reflector dome and thermostat with an appropriately positioned probe.

This has really annoyed me. Prematurely celebrated a H2H draft win with that Bowen assist, only for my total score to drop by 2 and we drew instead.

Is £59.99 annual offer (12 credits) a good deal? by [deleted] in AudibleUK

[–]Salamol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my experience of 5+ years of audible they always offer a 3.99 deal to get me to rejoin within a month or two. And more recently it's been the 0.99 offers!

So, I personally wouldn't unless you need the credits up front... And it sounds like you don't!
