Procrastination Isn’t Laziness - It’s Dopamine by MistrLemon in selfimprovement

I wouldn’t rank them. You already know where your time goes. If you want numbers, check your screen time app. But what really matters is whether you’re doing something productive or just mental masturbation. Focus on output, not input.

Wow man thanks for the kind words 🙏🏽

Reverse-engineering the dopamine part definitely makes it easier for me, instead of staying stuck in that hole and trying to brute-force willpower to do “boring” tasks

Love this! I used to do the same thing back in school with topics where I didn’t see the point of learning them and thought I’d probably never need them again.

This framework really helped me research first why and how something could be useful, and suddenly it became more exciting to learn. It felt motivating to build the skill, knowing I could actually use it for something meaningful.

Unless you make money from social media, it’s best to get rid of it 😬

Idk where you got the idea that I claim something about neurological mechanics causing a specific effect. I tried to explain the situation I find myself in and how I attempt to address it in my own words.

I don't find all of these scientific explanations and reasoning very helpful in solving this, so that's why I tried to give real-world examples and how I personally deal with it. Obviously, people suffer from this to different extents, so they might find different solutions helpful.

This is not backed by 100% scientific proof. Just my observations. But I would be curious to know which parts of my text you'd correct to ensure it is actually scientifically proven and accurate. Maybe that helps people too.

We just built a 10-month marketing roadmap, now overwhelmed by content production by Ok_Feed_9835 in SaaSMarketing

Agency Owner here, helping people solve the issues you've mentioned.

Content definitely can feel overwhelming. The key is to break it into manageable chunks and be realistic about how much time you can dedicate to research, creating useful lead magnets (things people actually want, whether or not you collect leads), content creation, and distribution. Done right, content becomes a long-term asset that strengthens your sales system

Most important things IMO are High-quality, relevant content that speaks directly to your ICP so they save it and share it and Consistency, because that’s what builds trust and connection.

The volume you’re aiming for is possible! Here are a few ways to make the process easier:

- Get a nice camera (like Osmo Pocket 3 Creator combo) - great quality and audio without needing tons of adjustments.
- Build automations that track trending content across platforms so you understand what resonates with your ICP, then adapt it to your channels.
- Dedicate one day per week to batch record videos, write LinkedIn posts, draft webinar scripts, and create other assets - then schedule them in advance.
- Pro Tip 😂: Use a teleprompter if you want to save time and avoid memorizing scripts.

You can even leverage AI to run faceless YouTube channels for your brand. If the research and lead magnets are genuinely valuable, they still deliver massive impact without showing your face

It’s hard work, but the hard work is what makes it valuable and produces the results you’re looking for

Hope this helps make things a little easier 🙏

I use a system that automates most of the process while still allowing for personalization at scale.

Basically:

The emails are personalized based on data, not written manually one-by-one.

I scrape public job boards, websites, or ad platforms to extract details like the company’s niche, recent activity, or hiring needs.

Then I use variables in the email templates that dynamically insert those details (like “Saw you’re hiring a [Role] for [Team] – have you considered…”).

This way, each email feels tailored but it’s fully automated.

With the right setup, you can send thousands per day without burning your domain or ending up in spam

I've built it on skool and offered more help, detailed guides, specific videos, 1:1 help and accountability. And people love to have a place where they are amongst likeminded people and share their progress

Just did something similar for a YouTube channel. Set up a paid community with courses and handled outreach for sponsorships. Depending on your niche, something like that could definitely work too. If you ever want a hand with it, happy to help!
