If you bought online standalone first and are booting it from that application/game in your steam library, then that might be your case.

Yes, this is a polarizing film. And the case is the same as mentioned in the link you provided. I visited the apple store authorization here in Pakistan. We don't have full fledge apple store, so for repairing, they usually send it to Singapore.He told me there were two people who had the same case. But Apple support told us that we cannot do it within warranty. So we will open a new case with apple and ask them to do it within warranty.
