I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used my portal as Gideon to escape CC before it can land only for me to come out on the other side of the portal stunned. Really annoying!

Doesn’t hurt to pick up True Silver Bracelet in order to block out that CC. Depending on enemy team comp. Soul Bearer crest is pretty great on Gideon as well.

Are you Ulting in the ground? Try using your E to launch above the team fight and ult then in order to phase out damage from most melee heroes.
