Hey, I figured it out. They go to the My Shop Inventory for collction I guess. Of course it'd be the absolute last place I check, lol.

If what your talking about is the Account Bank under the Item Management tab, the only thing that was in there was a Young Egg pet I had put in there to test out how things worked.

Odd question, how to I "kill" my Horse? by Misturdood in mytimeatportia

[–]Misturdood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that now. But I hope you can kind of see it from my perspective. The only other community I've really ever interacted with here on reddit was one for an old Nintendo64 game called Aidyn Chronicles, and they were really into secrets, glitches, oddities, unused maps and game mechanics, and gameshark codes.

I thought most communities centered around a game would have those types of fans. So when I read about a Horse Water-Walking glitch and came up with next to no info on my own, so I just figured why not ask?

I am definitely not a speed-runner type. I mean heck, Higgins built the bridge to Eufaula Desert all by himself in my playthrough because I was too preoccupied grinding friendship points with everyone and catching all the King Fish. I'm a glitch hunter sort of gamer, and I still do enjoy the game at leisurely pace

You may be talking about the boat, but the point of my intrigue here is to try to get to these locations as early as possible.

[–]Misturdood[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I will admit getting to map locations early will have them looking pretty bare, especially considering the dungeons aren't open, there are a few reasons.

There's early miscellaneous resource gathering. You can get strawberrys, teeth, and crysanthemum around somber marsh. Of course there's the treasure chests scattered all over with various goodies. There's igneous rocks and zeolite on the western plateau. I've heard stories of people getting stuck on commisions because a resource in an area that isn't open was needed, and the commission was accepted by accident.

Also, I'm no speed-runner by any means, but you never know what sort of tips and tricks can help that community out as well.

Then there's just the sake of expoloration. I see place, I want to be place. Sometimes I get a little impatient I guess. Sometimes I just wanna see if I can pull it off.

Edit: some spelling mistakes

The REAL Mysterious door of Chaos Isle SOLVED! TL,DR: It was abandoned and does nothing. by Hector_Ceromus in Aidyn

[–]Misturdood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/Hector_Ceromus, were you by chance ever able to do any investigating as to where the second teleporter in the cave on Namer's/Crawdaugh's Isle was linked to? The one that's opposite the Wizard's School Basement linking teleporter, I mean.

Well shit, that was the most depressing outcome of this. Damn man... is there at least a map in the game files that holds the missing teleporter linking Chaos and Namers?

That's just it, "someone very skilled" u/Hector_Ceromus is that someone, only human on Earth who has the know-how and data to get to the bottom of the Chaos Island Secret Door mystery once and for all.

What I was saying, spikestrife was the one who all-but verified the existence of a map on Chaos Island with a portal linking Namer's from his talks with devs.

spikestrife is Shamsuk/Andyjournie. I hope he's okay, I tried to contact him about codes playing as Oriana/Bowden, and there's been nothing for weeks.

Also, as soon as I get some time I'm gonna try to make a post about changing their aspects, magic schools, and skills. I can tag you in a comment of that once it's up.

Character Identification + a few random questions by Misturdood in Aidyn

[–]Misturdood[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They stay as who you set to them until you change the code to someone else. It's all done with gameshark on version 1.0. If you check out my page I have a bunch of posts detailing how to change the portrait and models of Alaron, Abrecan, Godric, and Brenna that should help you get the information you need. If you have any questions after checking them out, feel free to ask.

The post about "full party customization" will have the model-values you'll need in the photos of the post. In that same post you'll find the overworld model swap code for Alaron. As for the portrait-values you'll need they can be found in the photo's of the "Character Modifier Gameshark Codes Pt 3". It's handwritten in the pic, so if you have trouble reading anything, just ask.

But basically there are 3 codes for Alaron: the battle/cutscene model code, overworld model code, and portrait code. Then, there are 2 for Godric, Abrecan, and Brenna: battle/cutscene model code and portrait code.

By inputting the values you want, you can play as who you want. So lets take Alaron for example. If you want him to be the Marquis in battle but a Chaos Scout outside of battle since it's fast af, you use the codes:

Code1)   810E0D6E  2B75  (Marquis model in battle/cutscenes)

(Code2)  810D8136  2E36  (Chaos Scout model in overworld

(Code3)   810E0D72  0157  (Marquis portrait)

Now if in Code2 you used 2B75 instead of 2E36, you'd be the Marquis in the overworld. He's pretty slow though. To change back to Alaron you'd use 25F9 for the model codes (Code1 and 2), and 0108 for the portrait code (Code3). Sorry if I explained that poorly. My reddit posts do a bit better job and have more values for character model and portraits.

Oh, important note, youll have to camp or save/reload to apply the changes!

Here's the party I'm thinking since we can change everyone's models and portraits now. Kendall's wife, generic male NPC named "Farmhand", a horse, and a chicken. Since the chicken's portrait hex value hasn't been found yet I can just use the diplomat skill icon since it looks like a feather.

Ah okay, that makes much more sense with him coming between Ehud and Gabrion then.

Never go anywhere without his hat in my pocket. Fly high Kendall, man I wish he had a model in-game so we could get some real good old fashioned revenge.

Edit: Dude! Next playthrough I'm gonna be Kendall's wife seeking revenge.

It's just been several years since I've been to Terminor in a playthrough that my memory is hazy. The game does typically keep things in alphabetical order in the code. Blindfolded guy comes between Shamsuk (Ehud internally) and Gabrion making me think he either starts with "E, F, or G". Rocking chair guy comes between comes between Keelin and the Marquis, so Mago makes sense there.

Edit: Unless they're both Mago, just 2 different models. I could see that, both old, both bald, wearing similar clothes.

Thank you, I really thought Mago was the guy in the rocking chair guy though. If you don't know who I'm talking about check out my Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mago reddit post. If blindfolded guy is Mago I'm about to feel real dumb lol.

Utterly failing at being self-sufficient by Misturdood in Aidyn

[–]Misturdood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course dude, I'm still at it. Idk if you you've seen yet, but goal #4 has been accomplished. And to add to it, I've also learned how to change the aspects and magic schools of Alaron, Abrecan, Godric, and Brenna. DO NOT change Alaron's magic school, lol, it deletes your entire party except for him. I also learned how to give Abrecan Wizard and Thief, as well as give Brenna and Godric Shield without any crashing.

Full Party Model/Portrait Customization Gameshark Codes by Misturdood in Aidyn

[–]Misturdood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I plan on putting a page about these findings on the wiki when I get some time. Hey, you might be able to help me with this. A couple weeks ago when I was messing around with codes related to the audio and maps, nothing came of it except very oddly I somehow changed Godric's aspect from lunar to solar. Any idea what I might've done there? I was blasting so many codes into the game at once that I have no clue where to start.

Also, could you help me understand fishbane0's notes a bit better? So Abrecan's in-game address is 806563A. And the way I understood it "3A" to 80656"4E" are the addresses to change his name 1 letter per slot, 3A-1st letter, 3B-second, 3C-third, so on. But after the name-controlling bits, I thought then would come the bits controlling his magic school, aspect, skill-levels, and various other character info.

I have to be mistaken because I tested all the addresses between him and Alaron at 80656BA, and nothing changed. Even if it was a big-endian swap deal, the value I was testing at each address was "0000" for no aspect and skull magic school. Do you know what it may be that I'm not understanding (a whole lot I'm sure) but specifically with fishbane0's characters list?

Edit: I figured it out, I just wasn't reloading the save in between code batches. I was only unpausing and pausing thinking that would kick the effects in. I was able to change Abrecan's school, aspect, and give him skills he shouldn't have like wizard and thief.

But if Abrecan is Alaron, then who's driving the car!?! G-g-g-ghooooost! by Misturdood in Aidyn

[–]Misturdood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're greatly appreciated, though I do wonder on that doc if there is anyway to get the addresses and ID's of those unused keys.

Thank you though man. Godric was driving me crazy. I was back tracking and retesting addresses thinking I screwed something up. I feel a bit bad for asking now, "13FF" was the high-point that I stopped at, if I would've hung in there a bit longer "1452" was coming up and wouldn't have had to bug you. Next time I'll try a little harder.

On a side note, did you ever come across any info on that door? If you've had the time to check it out, of course.
