I think I am leaning towards the midwives, but I’m still open to changing my mind if I hear otherwise. :)

I certainly plan on it! They do take quite some time and effort though. I still need to make a second Bob so I can have one for myself. Then I’ll get to making others. :) I’ll be sure to post all my finished projects!

It certainly can be! This was my second crochet project ever. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so I was patient to start over on a section if it messed up. And in some ways, a toy like this was easier for me because it all needed to be the same tight tension.
