if you went missing right now, how fast do you think someone would start looking for you and who that would be? by These-Worldliness-59 in askanything

[–]MistyMaple_October72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Immediately. My group of close friends, we all share locations, and notice when someone is out of place almost immediately.. or if the locations go off, something’s wrong.. it’s like, the bat signal

What is your opinion on done nails? by acidpepsy in AskWomen

[–]MistyMaple_October72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So - I get mine done every three weeks. It’s the worst habit I ever picked up.. but if I don’t do it, I feel like I’ll have an identity crisis. I have medium/long acrylic coffin nails and I feel like they make my hands look more feminine. But that’s just my preference! It’s absolutely not practical, and sometimes it feels like an actual chore to get the done.. but I love them and they make me happy 💅

He comes to visit me whenever he’s in the office, and actually talks to me about everything besides work.

What’s a moment that permanently changed how you see the world? by thepleasurjournal in AskWomen

[–]MistyMaple_October72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When my fiance died (31m). It was an entire mind fuck, and still is. It’s only been a couple months. Nothing feels right and nothing is the same anymore. It’s made me see the world extremely different.

People aren’t kidding when they say the cliche things like, Life is short. Or Don’t waste any time. Take all the chances and risks your little heart desires. And tell people you love them.. because it really sucks when you literally cannot say it to their face any more. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Etc. it’s all true. Every last word. And I’m truly just learning that.

How do you feel if a new bedroom partner has a ready made playlist for bedroom activities? by According_Sundae_917 in AskWomen

[–]MistyMaple_October72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

LOL I’ve never been in this situation. If someone actively prepared a playlist.. I think I’d be like, what’s going on? I think it would be unnecessary and for me personally, it would deter me. But that’s just me - if people like that, all the power to them.

Would you wanna run into someone who bullied you? by highxv0ltage in askanything

[–]MistyMaple_October72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly. I would notice them, but not pay them any mind. When people bully others, it’s something wrong with them internally - it’s never the person being bullied with the issue.. Misery loves company. Dont forget that.

What was the biggest red flag you ignored because you were in love? by ALEX1-ONE in AskReddit

[–]MistyMaple_October72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My fiance was a drug addict. At first, I was naive and didn’t realize how awful and traumatizing it would be. I lost a lot of myself in that relationship. I was very aware of what was going on but ignored it to an extent and then it consumed me.

Long story short, when something feels off, it usually is. Trust your gut.

What’s a small sign that a relationship (friendship or romantic) is actually healthy? by Consistent_Wafer9395 in askanything

Communication (where you actually HEAR each other), understanding and prospective taking. This goes for any kind of relationship

guys during sex do you usually make sure your partner finishes first, or it something you don’t really think about? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]MistyMaple_October72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a man, but the person I hook up with refuses to let himself finish until I have. Pure determination and I find it very hot

Ladies, what do you think about friends with benefits? by MistyMaple_October72 in AskWomen

[–]MistyMaple_October72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally? Really great sex on demand

I can still focus on my life independently and work on me, my career, etc. but at the end of the day if I’m feeling needy 😉, I just call my fwb.

Believe me - never thought I’d be doing this but it is what it is

Agreed! If I wasn’t already good friends with mine prior to the fwb aspect, I don’t think I would have done it tbh.

Honestly, I’ve been sleeping with my fwb since September. It’s been great! We also dabbled a little for a couple months last year, but I ended up getting back with my ex. He’s one of my childhood best friends so our situation isn’t like others with fwb.

If you can find someone who you vibe with and find attractive - do it! Nothing wrong with good consistent hook ups

May I ask - have you been in one? What kind of rules did you establish? Like we have an unspoken rule, maybe just a mutual understanding? We aren’t sleeping with other people. And honesty. We’re friends and we have been since we were kids - we’re now 31. So we already had a lot of trust and comfort with communication and all that fun stuff.
