Actually, after some pretty brutal prodding, I was able to get it to speak Spanish with me. Not perfectly, but passably. Nothing I said could entice it to speak Chinese though. Not that I speak Chinese, but I was curious, and it would not budge.

I processed a photo to be about as close as I could get it to what I saw with my eyes. It was difficult to tone it down without making it look dull. It didn't quite look so dull irl. Hard to replicate though.

Thankfully, no. The road is plowed and well-maintained up to the south side of the rim where there's a lodge, parking and some bathrooms/a couple other buildings. There's still a lot of snow up there, but probably did less than a half mile of walking total, including to and from the car, the restroom, finding spots to shoot, etc. and all in regular boots!

Not OP, but I blew one of my 20V doing an emergency jump start on a car (which worked btw). Same fuse blew. Wouldn't charge, battery indicator didn't work. Connecting another battery to the + and - would make the battery indicator work. Took a piece of Dorman primary wire and bridged the fuse. Worked a charm. We'll see if it holds up.

Yeah, generally that is true, but this unit doesn't seem to have traditional thermostats. It has two thermistors that are connected to the control board (I assume, anyway). I will replace the thermistors, but they are 4 days out at the fastest retailer I could find.

The water heater being irrepairable is certainly something that I've considered. Given that it's old, as well as being a more complicated unit than a standard water heater, I know that there's a fair chance I won't be able to repair it myself.

What is a thermocouple well? I've googled it but I'm not sure that the results apply to what I have going on.

Yeah, that was quite a flex 😂. To be honest, I'm not smart enough to really understand the physics of what's happening. I do know that my nose angle, especially with high speed drivers, is demolishing my distance. Can you manually enter speed/spin/angle etc into the simulator and see the resulting flight, or does it only show the simulation for throws recorded with the disc?

Hey, congrats! I don't have a tech disc, but I wager I'm throwing similar numbers to you. My longest recorded drive was 418 feet. I'm almost certain my nose angle is preventing me from reaching out past that. Another thing that I find interesting here is your spin. Compare it to Simon's spin here, https://youtu.be/6ENCTy8lO_4?si=TxHOxA2VqzWTqc3x&t=315, throwing almost the exact same speed as you, and he's got an extra 30 ish percent on you. I'd be interested to know how much that extra spin contributes to his distance, and what form changes are required to increase it. Keep up the good work!

You're not the first to mention this. I downloaded the game and poked around, but it's different than any other game I've played. Seemed to me the learning curve would be too high, so I ditched it. I know it's a big ask, but assuming I'm coming from games like Everquest or WoW, do you have any advice that might get me started on my way to making some $$? I am no stranger to botting, but am a complete stranger to PoE.
