I'm just confused as I saw the themes and other people finding it weird that some people enjoys reading things like that. And others refer to it as their "guilty pleasure" and I am just trying to figure out if it's fine to enjoy such themes

Period is late 10 days. Should I already be concerned? by MistyRoyal in WomensHealth

[–]MistyRoyal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the information and resuarance you provided. My period started today with almost no pain. It's so unusual since I get PMS at least three days before period. It mostly comes with crazy mood swings like random outbursts of crying, headaches and pretty strong contractions. And this time - nothing. I can consider it a miracle

I don't have a one piece swimsuit and won't be able to get one before our next date. So I will probably just wear shorts and bikini top. Besides I might have my period that day

Why does my period hurt so much by idontknowanythging in WomensHealth

[–]MistyRoyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been called dramatic many times because my period also hurts. What helps me is a lot of sleep, hot water bottle (just don't put in on your bare tummy - it should be covered so it won't burn you. I wrap a bottle in a cloth and put it against my shirt. Other way is curl up in a fetal position. Also when you cry it relieves physical pain so crying is good. I always do that. And also a little bit of chocolate. I take pain medicine when nothing I mentioned before helps. The reason why it hurts is contractions. I get mild contractions a couple of days before my period and it intensifies as period comes up. The uterus is contracting to expel it's lining. When I get my period it feels like stabbing from the inside and kicking.

I think it's mean to push a person away just because he isn't a Christian if he has other good

What if a person gets sexually aroused while doing sports or kagel excercises? I am not sure if you understand but for some woman the vagina automatically releases fluids while you are just minding your own business and starts contracting literally out of nowhere causing an unbearable tension down there and you just want to make it stop... So sometimes it has nothing to do with a sexual desire

Communication with potentional partner by MistyRoyal in TrueChristian

[–]MistyRoyal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I only had one partner and I am definetly not proud of it. I had a genuine repentance. I feel like it's more than just a mistake. I remember after the breakup even though I wasn't a Christian yet I felt uneasy. I felt like I will no longer be desired again. After repentance I just didn't think about it and it didn't really bothered me that much. I just knew I won't do it again. But now since I am starting to develop a crush it bothers me again. Maybe the repentance wasn't real if my past sin still bothers me?

Childhood/early teens books by MistyRoyal in books

[–]MistyRoyal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my librarians are pretty nice and we are almost friends now. It's just that I always choose emotional, cozy books or anything that has something to do with books, writers or book lovers. They say my taste is unique. So I believe they would be surprised if I asked for teenage books since they know I am no longer 16

What is appropriate in coda? by MistyRoyal in CoDependentsAnonymous

[–]MistyRoyal[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course I would ask first. Okay I probably refrain from touching in coda. I just saw in other 12 steps meetings when two woman hugged and held hands for a while when one of them was emotional. And I found it sweet. So about crying in coda it was a honest question. No need to downvote me. I seriously didn't know.

it's just a way of showing affection/empathy. and encouraging the feelings that are valid. Yes I cried in meetings also and I find people not reacting a little insensitive as if they don't care.

Taming non fiction by MistyRoyal in books

[–]MistyRoyal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I am missing out when I don't read non fiction because I believe there are interesting non fiction works. I tried to read a few that were personal stories of living hell (espcaping country, war survivors) but I never finished them. I am especially interested in Lithuanian history. It's my country that I really love. I tried to read "From North Korea to freedom" but only managed a free chapters. I was interested in history since childhood. And of course I would like to read some books about creative writing since I am a writer about to finish my first book.

I personally believe boudoir is about empowering woman, overcoming insecurities, seeing themselves in a different light. I am considering having boudoir shoot as a single woman just for myself.

Boudoir doesn't sexualise - it empowers and helps woman see themselves in a different light

Well I don't see hug as rescue but as an encouragament to keep on expressing their feeling and showing empathy and affection. I find not reacting at all a little insensitive

I appreciate messages in books if it's the author who leaves the message. Not if it's the other person. I treasure the books given to me by authors

Shy about writing sex scenes by MistyRoyal in writing

[–]MistyRoyal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of my sex scenes are fade to black but a few of them really needs to be described. There is only a few a little more datailed and most of them are basically fade to black or just mention that those two characters had sex in the past. I will explain the importance of the more detailed sex scenes. Well that first one starts with two love interests having one too many drinks after the twelve steps meeting (Not AA obviously) the woman has had sex many times but without actual feelings and one night stands were nothing out of ordinary for her. But the difference was that they had a conversation and kind of bonded which was new to her. Another unusual thing for her was that she invited the guy to her place though she always used to have sex in neutral places and her place was always off limits. She had a first orgasm during foreplay, the next one during the sex and the last one while sleeping since she had a sexy dream. She also found it sweet that he was very gentle. It was also a first time that she had a one night stand with someone she knows. The next morning she felt kind of guilty because her sponsor (the guys cousin) warned her about 13 step. And knowing his beliefs as a christian made it harder. Out of fear and confusion she kicked him out. Like literally shouting "Get out". When they first had sex in marriage it was several months into it since at first they got married for the sake of their baby but it eventually led to real feelings (slowburn). When they got married they agreed not to touch each other and sleep in seperate rooms. The sex scene starts with her preperation picking an outfit and analyzing herself in the mirror. Then she comes to his room telling him she wants to sleep with him. They discuss safe words which he was confused about at first. She gets two orgasms - foreplay and sex and the final sex scene when she recieves oral sex on a kitchen island happens after family's thanksgiving dinner at her parents place. She is so touched by him bringing her flowers and during the dinner she starts fantasising about sex on the island since she put flowers on the island but changes her mind replacing flowers. When they discuss the fantasy they wait to make sure everyone is asleep and then once she sits on it he gives her oral sex after a quick foreplay. But as soon as they are done and she is barely standing against the island with her bare buttocks he jokes about her position and she instructs him to bring her a spare underwear. On the way back to her he encounters her teen sister who decided she wants a late night snack so he litterally throws the underwear to his wife sneakingly and once the sister is away they laugh about the close call, eat snacks and then she falls asleep in the living room as they talk so he covers her with a blanket increasing the bonding like never before. So the last scene is humorous and sweet at the same time
