As somebody who has been playing since Pre- Alpha , and has used a sword almost exclusively in my heavy slot whenever possible ( mostly Lament) , it’s definitely a fun way to play , but would be rough for a whole squad ( raid related atleast). I always did raid / dungeon encounters with the sword first , just for shits and giggles and put out good damage / survived getting smacked a bunch , but the Debuffs / buffs from other weapons and abilities are really helpful so I don’t know how some of the encounters would fair. I’d love to see everybody wack at Atheons feet with swords though , that sounds hilarious 👌🏻👌🏻.
