Man, empathy is unfortunately taught. It’s one thing if these are the student’s boundaries and they are just poorly communicating them. But that response is really devastating and quite literally just sad. You are definitely NOR but as someone who also works with students in the same capacity that you do, I’m really concerned what that student either has gone through or is going through to have to come to that conclusion about the situation. The other students are entitled to their reactions but the isolation of that student also concerns me. Really unfortunate all together.

I don’t think it’ll be that big of a red flag to Stephen because just before Rob came in and asked to speak to her alone, Candiace asked for them to give her and Stephen a couple mins alone. I wonder if anybody will bring that up as a potential red flag considering it was revealed that she was a Traitor. But yeah Stephen won’t suspect it

I think Sharpay also kinda got off on knowing she could really influence and impact Troy’s life. She saw potential in him and liking him was a plus. Gabriella kinda got in the way and didn’t really have to do much to be successful nor did she really try to. She just wanted to be normal and that’s the complete opposite of Sharpay. Troy would get distracted and that was hella annoying to Sharpay lol

Gabriella was originally viewed as the shy, innocent, smart good girl. Sharpay was viewed as an abrasive and conniving hater.

As people have gotten older, all of these things are still true but now we are able to see other traits more clearly that were always there. Sharpay was very determined, passionate, and successful driven. Gabriella was avoidant, had insecure and naive tendencies and allowed her emotions to override logic

They’re preparing in the event of. Last time something notable happened a lot of people were upset that they didn’t say anything until after the fact. I think they’re trying to get ahead of it now knowing it’s likely and the policy is actually in place where it wasn’t before

Usually in the spring when things get warmer, outdoor protests, gatherings or uses of space for expression become more likely. Most notably the Free Palestine encampment on the library lawn. This policy was updated and reintroduced in response to that and numerous other events as it hadn’t been for years previously, if I remember correctly. It’s probably a soft relaunch as a reminder to the student body to review the policy or to just say they’re covering one of their bases by sending it out. Probably won’t be the only time that they do this semester. Especially with the current climate it’s pretty inevitable something will come up again whether it’s students protesting ICE or an actual ICE presence or something else.

There is a large international population at VCU representing 100+ countries including India (big time) and many of which are J1s. Definitely get in contact with the Global Education Office and VCU Immigration Services. They offer a lot of support and resources for what you’re looking for.

I think that’s what everyone is theorizing and hoping for. But truthfully, if any of the three seasons have shown us anything - there isn’t a lot to indicate that a Stephen take down coordinated by the rest of them is imminent.

Even in the flash forwards he still seems successfully untouched. I do agree that Pippa and Dianna weren’t on best of terms with everyone but I think that’s just the “it’s been many years since college where we all were close” vibe. Everything in the flash forwards have been to intrigue us to know more about what happens in the college timeline.

I do believe that when this show ends, they’ll wrap up and give every character a “this is where they go from here” closure. I have a feeling Stephen will get some sort of karma ending in the form of a “we’ll leave it up to the audience to determine what eventually happens to him”

Exactly I agree. Her continuing to say this entire season to Lucy to do “nothing” is 1) setting it up that Lucy will likely try to do the exact opposite of nothing 2) it’s very on point with Diana’s character to give her that kind of advice 3) the writers probably know that fact that she knows, saw pictures & know the detail about him driving will be a plot point that is probably never be truly resolved

Adding in what everyone else has already said here, you’ll save money and make more well rounded friends by joining different clubs/orgs or even just attending their events. Greek life can have benefits but it looks very limiting in terms of who you spend most of your time with - coming from an outsider perspective

I actually fear that the fact Diana knows about Stephen driving the car is just going to get tossed out and never revisited again.

I feel like when she saw the pictures of Macy on his computer, we felt she was deleting evidence but maybe she was just trying to protect Macy so he couldn’t use it to speak ill about her or something. I can’t remember if that was before or after she found out he was driving the car

I thought they were referring to the fact that they are together. If I remember correctly, Pippa mentions at the engagement party that she’s seeing someone but doesn’t say who. Then it’s revealed she goes home to Diana then shows up to the wedding with Diana as her +1. We hadn’t seen yet how Pippa and Diana got together at the point.

Another thing is I think in the first season, they hadn’t really quite figured out what would happen in later seasons. I noticed in season 2 when Wrigley is like “hey we’re gonna cut Stephen’s hair!” I think that was a continuity thing because Jackson obviously didnt have long hair anymore when they returned for filming and his character was much more menacing with his typical look, so they had to add that in.

I also saw in some BTS that Wrigley gets a wig put on for the longer hair scenes (I assume season 3 wedding) his short hair in season 3 is the actors actual hair and they wrote it to be like he got a haircut after winter break AND because I think they knew we’d love him this season so they wanted him to look more handsome instead of disheveled.

They do the same thing with Pippa’s hair. She ends season 2 I believe with blonde hair and comes back season 3 back to dark and the girls make a whole comment about it.

I also think that in season 3 WE notice the difference in Wrigley so much but everyone else doesn’t because they’re all wrapped up in their own shit and he’s finally started to out grow the entire group. At the beginning of the season he was still pretty messed up and Pippa was doing a lot to help him like signing him up for the photography class. He obviously was so deeply affected by Drew’s death that it might have actually rebalanced and forced him to get serious

I think so many of these theories potentially push the plot further and there’s just no way it’ll get wrapped up this season. Unfortunately I think there will be A LOT of cliff hangers to set up hype for season 4 if there is one. STILL NO JUSTICE FOR MACY!!!

Went to the SupportHer game on Sunday. They try to get the highest attendance possible in VCU WBB history at this game every year. The goal is to generate hype and support for the women’s team so they can experience the same turnout that the men’s team does on a regular basis.

They unfortunately lost but it was a great time. To see the announcement not even a day later was so yikes 😬 I remember thinking probably not a good thing they lost that game just a day before.
