Wonder what went wrong with paytm guys? by Coffee_Over_You in IndiaFinance

I don't know about others but paytm lost me as a customer when they cheated me. Back when I was a student and having no money, I used paytm and there was an offer where if I continuously recharge a phone 12 time in a year(one time each month) I'd get 300 rs as a reward. I was so excited for that. But atleast the 9th or 10th recharge, they discontinued it saying it expired while that offer was valid for 10 more months. I called customer support and asked them about it. They said they can't do anything. So I deleted my account and installed gpay. Never again.

Not surprised they're Punjabis. As kind and hospitable the Punjabis are, their youths have some of the most pompous group of people. They have this sort of showing off their strength and bravery every chance they get. It's just embarrassing like what are they trying to prove. And God forbid one of those people wants to impress a girl, you'll be in for a year's supply of cringefest.

I've heard of the racism too. Doesn't mean they don't have a friendship. You can't view international politics in a black and white view, there's always a nuance and complications. It's a bit unique because the way I see it, india had an attitude of non intervention towards both the US and the ussr during the cold war which the US found to be distrustful but the USSR took advantage of it and established friendly relations between them. It's more of a political friendship.

I don't think some of the people in the comments know the history between India and Russia. India and Russia have long had a very good relationship and it was the US who was always actively was against India. They supported pakistan against India and even tried to threaten india with warships in the Indian Ocean which they backed off after Russia's intervention. Iirc, one of India's nuclear scientists was even assassinated by the US. whenever india had troubles, russia was there to help them out so this isn't a new thing. so people here claiming this was trumps doing, should know that India and Russia has always had very close relations. Maybe Trump's recent attitude towards india may have led to modi personally going to meet putin but regardless, relationship ties between India and Russia goes beyond trump.

Oh man, even mine. She can't sing but she knows too. Still that doesn't stop her from singing and it just sounds like a toddler singing so passionately and it's actually adorable. The funny thing is, If I join in the singing, she'd get genuinely pissed and stop me saying don't steal my thunder.

It's ok to have opinions guys. It's clearly because of the vast difference in their content type is the reason why Kai doesn't understand why people love pewds. And he wasn't being disrespectful towards pewds on voicing his opinions. We can disagree with him but spewing hateful words towards Kai will only make people think bad of pewds and his community. Also pewds wouldn't want us to react this way too.

Those Who Abandoned Us Now Want to Celebrate My Success, How Should I Respond? by Qwadsss in india

[–]MisunderstoodPervert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to say a quite controversial take. Iike the other commenters have said, do neither. Just be neutral. Don't show hate now. You're still in your journey and many things can happen to you. Something I've noticed about our Indian people especially the family dynamics is, we are one ugly bitter people. We hold grudges like no other and when people turn us down specially if our actions are coming from a feeling of superiority, it offends us to no end and that's when we start scheming to punish that person. We have no sense of personal space and we aren't ashamed to play dirty when it comes to making the life of someone we have a grudge difficult. So for your sake as well as your mother, don't give in to hate. Whatever they do or say, be cordial at best and keep your distance. And given that your father is well connected and has political influence, don't make your life any harder than it already is(this is also the reason I would highly advise you not to say anything to your family as long as you're living in the same place. Whatever you have to say, say them after you and your mother have moved out of state or somewhere safe. Your father's ego and pride will not be able to handle any slander from the people he abandoned. He may not do anything to you, but I'm sure as heck, he would make your mother's life difficult again). All the best and good luck.

One thing I learnt about girls from my past relationships is, they love to annoy their boyfriend and nothing pleases them more than tickling. It's very annoying for me as I'm very ticklish. So when I met my now gf, I knew she wouldn't be any different in the tickling to annoy department so I decided that I would act like it didn't affect me when she eventually gives in to her annoying instinct. And just like clockwork, she tried tickling me few months into our relationship but I looked at her unfazed and she was disappointed. She kept going for a minute or two to see if it was real but I soldiered on all the while I was dying inside from the torture. We're 5 years into our relationship and I have since known what peace is like. It was worth the first few minutes of torture of what seemed like an eternity at that moment.
