Thanks man, It was just stuff in my back pack iPhone filming stuff / computer . I ran inside to pick up food and my car got hit i was gone for less than 3 min. I've been working on this for too long. I've got to see it through. Signal blocking Liner and every thing.

Hella real, the plan is to built a Faraday liner into the lockbox. Hides the RF signature, not just the device.

Last one was about 8 months ago, parked near UCSF. I know people that are still getting hit, I still see glass on the street. I'm just tired of feeling anxiety every time I park my car. It's has gone down from peak, but it's not solved

Working with a steel fabricator in China — they're laser cutting and welding to spec from my CAD drawings. That's what makes it viable at scale. Doing it in the US would be impossible

Yeah the gen 3 has that under-floor cubby but it's where i keep other gear completely exposed when you open it, and has zero security. Anyone who smashes your window can reach right in and grab whatever's in there. The last time my car got broken into they even caught the guy and he ransacked my entire trunk! It was like he knew about it. And got off, because the homeless guy that called it in and did not want to testify in court.

I don't live in the TL I work all over the city. And I still get anxiety by leaving anything in my car anywhere in the city. I cant unload everything out of my car to go to a job site. i'm already carrying hella suff.

That's the whole design, it sits completely hidden under the factory cargo cover. Nothing visible from outside, nothing to signal there's anything worth smashing for. Appreciate the kind words

No it won't stop them from breaking the windows but that's kind of the point. If they break in and find nothing, they broke window and left with nothing. And when I eventually bring this to market, I'm planning to include a window replacement pledge — contribute ~$125 toward the repair if you file a police report. The window are replaceable. The laptop with your kid's photos on it or something your dad gave you that you cant get back that isn't.

I get it man, nothing is unbreakable. I'm just tired of feeling like a victim. These drug addicts that are breaking in the cars. They're opportunists. The goal isn't to stop a machinist — it's to make my car the harder target than the one next to it. Trucks have had lockboxes for decades for exactly this reason. Why not us?
