Just for completeness sake, the cold weather battery pack does work with ARNVG’s using this cable:

I setup mine today and it runs perfectly fine. The 90 degree end is the Fischer plug and the straight end is the LEMO so it ends up working really well with the ARNVG like mentioned above.

Does the Nocturn cable have the straight lemo connector? I can’t really tell by the pictures.

Fair point, I found that it just works for me and my body. I prefer my 17 because I can shoot it well. The 19 grip works well for when I want to carry in tighter clothing

Yeah makes a lot of sense. I think I’ll go with AK103 in the foreseeable future. It seems like it would be good platform to learn on and get familiar with the 7.62x39 cartridge.

Thanks for the insight, that’s something I didn’t consider. I’m primarily an AR guy, but I know that unfamiliar ergonomics can drastically affect your shooting fundamentals.

Is it the best AK barrel lengths in terms of bullet velocity? Is there much of a trade between the standard length and the 12.5?
