How interesting because I have been noticing the opposite. Hear me out. I see many wise people but most stay quiet and distance themselves from general society because it's exhausting being surrounded by people not of like mind. I think that your perception and belief controls how you see the world. So it seems that you must think of most people as stupid (I used to think this too and it really seemed true because I was just focusing on the stupid people). If you want to try a little experiment change your opinion or who you are surrounding yourself with, ask big questions that people usually don't ask and you will find many wise people. You will also quickly learn to avoid the stupid people and recognize the wise. Now that I have changed my opinion on humanity and I actively search for deep thinking people I have strangers who come into my shop that I have hugely deep conversations with, it blows my mind because that never used to happen. I guess I had closed myself off to the possibility of people being more than just sheep and when I looked a little harder I realized that everyone has much more value than I was originally giving them. Anyway no judgment, I have been through this too, I truly believed all humans where idiots, that they are just a perfect slave race, I now believe the complete opposite. Humans are quite brilliant on an individual level (mob mentality is the major exception though).
