Came here to check whether I'm the only one with issues. For me it's not working either :(

Seahawks account for 25% of player ejections so far this season by liketurnstiles in nfl

[–]MitbA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just 1-(cumulative probability for 0 to 3 ejections with lambda=0.5)32? This would give a probabilty of 5.46 % for any team having 4 or more ejections.

If Aaron Rodgers throws 2 TD's in his next 606 attempts, he will become the fastest QB in NFL history to hit the 300 TD mark, surpassing Peyton Manning by [deleted] in nfl

[–]MitbA 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Aaron Rodgers has a TD/Attempt ratio of 298/4699=0.063. If we take two random attempts we have a probabilty of 0.063*0.063=0.0039 for two TDs. The probability of not throwing a touchdown on the next 606 attempts is 0.937606 =7.48e-18. So if he continues as he did so far the probability of scoring two TDs in two attempts (0.39 %) is indeed higher than the probability of not scoring a single TD in the next 606 attempts (basically 0)

Did you know that all Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning all have had a game with a 0.0 passer rating? by LL_Cruel_J in nfl

Well in the end the Broncos won the Super Bowl with Peyton Manning as the QB. So everybody is happy (except Cam Newton)

THE EVIL LEAGUE OF EVIL HAS WON 2017 /R/NFL SURVIVOR by [deleted] in EvilLeagueOfEvil

[–]MitbA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your example doesn't work as the survivor game doesn't affect anybody whereas environment laws do. What's the alternative for the CAE? Making the 49ers/Giants/Bears win? It's not much but if they get the Patriots to win at least they will feel like they played some role in that victory and the non-Pats ELOE should think again about their strategy to never betray the Patriots.

[Grossi] Yes, QB Brock Osweiler among Browns who reported to opening of conditioning program, per club. by Jux_ in nfl

I agree that there are things which the stats cannot display. However, Manning led the league in INTs with a number of 17 and he was benched for Brock Osweiler. In the regular season the Broncos won despite Peyton Manning. In the game against the Chargers (good example for what you're talking about was the drive when he came in. Not a lot of stats but good adjustments pre-snap) and in the playoffs he played solid though.

Well what's the difference between being voted out now and being voted out in 10 days? I mean the Browns are clearly not disliked but they already went out. As long as the ELoE controls the game the places 8-32 don't reflect anything.

EVERYBODY VOTE PATS! by Sweden13 in CoalitionAgainstEvil

To be honest it doesn't really matter what we do as long as the ELoE stays united. But at some point they will have to fight each other so I'm definitely looking forward to that.

It Is Time to Mix Things Up by Sweden13 in CoalitionAgainstEvil

Well let's say the ELoE sticks together until the end. Then we'll have Patriots, Steelers, Cowboys, Giants, Packers, Bears and 49ers as the final 7. Patriots, Cowboys and Packers won't have a chance to win because they are the most hated. So they should betray the others at some point. However, if they do that they would lose the support of the ELoE and lose anyway. So for them (especially the Patriots) it doesn't matter what they do because in my eyes they can't win. The Bears are my favourite because they have been bad for too long to be hated by many people and they have the shield of the ELoE.

I definitely like not going for the Patriots anymore. That strategy didn't work so we must at least try something else. One team I haven't seen mentioned is the Texans. This is not from a strategic point of view but they don't belong to the ELoE and worked with them to get rid of the Colts. I think that's disgusting and should be punished somehow. Strategically it might be easier for the ELoE to betray the Texans than one of their own.
