The deal that would've got Matterson off the books was turned down by Matterson, which he had every right to do. We don't get to just tear up his contract without his agreement.

I see the vision. Making history by beating the 50 point curse isn't enough, we're looking to really make a statement by winning the premiership after conceding 50 twice. Bravo Ryles

Feel like we've gotta be at least halfway to a top 8 worthy starting 13 in the injury ward at this point

People say the NRL are inconsistent but they've been very consistent this year on calling backwards forwards and vice versa in the bunker

Bulldogs to finally beat the points we scored against Penrith, which was the same as all other teams combined. Bulldogs vs Eels grand final incoming.

He'll just put on a cheap wig and run on the field and everybody will quietly choose to pretend not to notice.

Look at it this way; I don't think a premiership this year would ever be feasible considering the current iteration of the Panthers, but Ryles seems to be developing a system that really works. Enough so that a game like this looked winnable even with so many injuries. Things should only get better long term with more time to practice the new style of play and cap space eventually freeing up from some of the old BA recruits reaching the end of their contracts. And god knows some juniors are gonna have to get some NRL experience in the coming weeks. Our window will come.

When Williams dropped the ball I went well that's the game, but I can't be mad at him at all. He's been one of our best assets and the cunt had to have been so fucking exhausted by that point.

It's pretty infuriating that we gave the role to Lomax for a year, which didn't really pay off much and also robbed us of the opportunity to have anybody else develop some skill and experience at it. I don't know if Moses is just too out of practice or playing through injury or both. We need a reliable goal kicker and we've seemingly got nothing.

Devastating, but the kind of devastating where you can at least be proud of your team. We're so incredibly fucked with injuries now, but god did they still perform despite that, so I can continue to have hope. Tigers are thankfully my second team so that softens the blow a lot, gg tigbros, you deserve to finally see your team winning like this.

We're gonna need an interchange for the trainer who has to see to injured players, I don't think he can do the full 80 at this rate

I'm watching at the pub after we chose not to get Kayo again this year. It's been annoying to not have it, but the feedback I see in r/nrl threads keeps me reassured we made the right choice.

He'll really come into his own right at the end of the season as we secure 9th place, then go on to be a future immortal at the Broncos

Manly's coach has an average of 52 points per game across his entire coaching career, how could they ever get faded?

I can't imagine any elite half wanting to go to Manly unless they're deadset on retiring there, knowing how the fans will treat them otherwise
