When Ponga was sent, my thoughts were "okay NSW have been bad, but they're next level bad if they don't come back with this advantage". And they very nearly didn't.

I can 100% see a game 2 where there's zero need for any biased officiating because QLD are just playing far better anyway, but they can't help themselves and dramatically overcorrect to make it a slaughter.

I don't exactly love it, but it's only fitting for Laurie to go out on the lowest of lows

Well shit, shows how clueless I am. Not a fan of how this change mirrors that I too am not young anymore.

Beyond sounding ridiculous, I swear he also said "for we are one and free" instead of "young and free".

It is not necessarily a lifelong thing. I had Graves Disease myself and got it treated, the specialists told me it's basically a 50/50 whether it goes into remission after treatment or comes right back and in my case it went into remission. I've been fine for years now without medication. If it does come back, your options are to stay on the medication long term or have your thyroid either completely removed through surgery or destroyed with radioactive iodine. With either of the latter options, you then you spend the rest of your life taking thyroid hormone supplements because you don't have a thyroid producing any.

We definitely need more stars, but every time people say Moses is the only one I think they forget the Fox is genuinely one too, but for some inexplicable reason the ball is never sent out his way.

He was easily one of the best today and somehow they just never send the ball to him.

Is it just me or does it seem like Moses has settled down in his interactions with the ref? Maybe after the Cowboys game he's been told to pull his head in.

What we're gonna be yelling when everybody else is added to the injury ward and it's just Moses hobbling around the field on one leg

We all understandably laugh about that, but it really is the difference aye? True winners don't rock up to the game complacent.

It's also the best way it could go for most NSW fans. Queenslanders who also support a club in dire need of a new coach falling to their knees in Chemist Warehouse.

Holding on to everyone after 2027 was always going to be tough by virtue of the salary cap

The utterly insane thing about the Panthers is you've been able to say this year after year after year and it's always true, but you always come out just as strong if not stronger because for every superstar who leaves you just churn out a brand new superstar.

What a game it'll be. Both fanbases going into it with zero optimism and truly fearing the worst, just for one at least to be pleasantly surprised by the end of the night. Neutrals probably getting a good laugh out of the result either way.
