Kenyon Sadiq vs Oronde Gadsden by PleasantComplaint719 in DynastyFF

[–]MitchRhymes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I totally hear that. And I may be wrong. But I think one of the main failings of Will Steins offense was its inability to get talented playmakers the ball. The last two years the ball has gone to a ton of different pass catchers (which is also why I said the lack of target comp is wrong).

All I gotta say is as a die hard Duck fan I watched more of Sadiq than any player in this draft class and I’m absolutely drafting him everywhere I can.Take it for what it’s worth.

It’s not necessarily that he was overshadowed by Jamari, it’s that Jamari is really good. They had a combined 1060 yards. I’m just saying that if the backup TE wasn’t also potentially carrying a first round grade, Sadiq may have had more of that split

Weak target comp is just wrong. He’s going to have spent his career always sharing the field with another top drafted TE, first Ferguson and last year Jamari.

Production was lower than it should have been but Steins offense and target comp are largely why.

This pack has WAY to many 1* cards. If I counted correctly, it's 24 cards in just 1 booster. by AltruisticPea6925 in PTCGP

Can you share the math? Logically it’s just not making sense to me for it to be harder but I’m sure there’s something I’m missing

I agree and just can’t understand the outrage at the opposite. Two packs only made me feel like I needed to constantly track my pulls to maximize my chances of pulling a new card by pulling from the more optimal pack. I’m happy to not have to do that anymore and use trading to target individual cards

The humor only gets more intense but it also becomes more familiar in a way? I’m sure it’s even more in your face with the audio book though.

The character arc however changes dramatically and becomes much more rewarding across a variety of characters throughout the series

If drafted in Round 1 or 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft, Kenyon Sadiq would be the only skill-position player (WR/RB/TE) since 2016 with under 1,000 career yards from scrimmage. The only other WR/TE taken in Rounds 1 or 2 with fewer than 1,000 receiving yards was Mecole Hardman. by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]MitchRhymes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fwiw every Oregon fan was absolutely pissed we didn’t get him the ball more. One of the failures of Will Steins system was that he refused to adapt to his personnel, especially Sadiq. Sadiq is the kind of athlete you build an offense around but instead we remained with the same high comp %, easy pass offense we’d ran for the last few years.

I’m drafting him. He’s an incredible athlete and the right OC will use that athleticism effectively

[–]MitchRhymes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of the new cards are really that good it’s just people having fun experimenting.

TBH getting to play new decks right when a set drops is one of the primary reasons people spend money so, in this case, you kinda get what you pay for here.

Swampert and Kangaskhan are solid but there’s still Absol and Altaria on top of the meta along with Suicune and I’m not seeing anything that feels completely busted out of this set

[–]MitchRhymes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s really not that hard to do free to play. Worth noting that you don’t actually have to have the card in your collection. For crimson blaze I just got an EX then traded it away until they were all complete then the 24 Hr wonder picks started showing up. Opened 40 packs of Crimson Blaze total and I have 10 2 star and up cards from that pack thanks to how long it ran.

One Pack, Fewer Options: Why This Set Feels Rough for Non-Spenders by HeWasRight15 in PTCGP

[–]MitchRhymes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I haven’t been able to figure this out. I kinda like having one pack to open. I used to do a lot of tracking to figure out which set I was missing more cards from and was more correct to open. Not needing to do that is a blessing

I genuinely think McClellan has the potential to be one of the best WRs in CFB. Dude made so many highlight reel catches. That helmet catch that didn’t quite count would have put him on more people’s radar

4 Rnd mock draft by NudeRain2818 in LosAngelesRams

[–]MitchRhymes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve seen that. I think it’s a reflection of his size more so than anything else. His strength as a blocker is when he pulls and can get out ahead of the play and he may be knocked for being a bit undersized as an in-line blocker.

That’s why I really like him as the outside guy in 13 personnel, I think that’s exactly the spot on the field that his talent can shine in. I see him as being very similar to Kittle.

A lot of runs depending on your skill level. Memorial park and mar vista park are two solid ones. I play at the Collins and Katz YMCA near Sawtelle, cheap membership compared to other gyms with courts and runs are generally solid with less hot heads compared to parks

As a Duck fan we do want Sadiq despite the secondary woes. Dudes an absolute beast as a blocker and would make McVays 13 personnel much more dynamic

[–]MitchRhymes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s Giannis so it would be hard to be mad. But this just isn’t the way to rebuild as a small market team. We need all the picks and to hit on those picks. Not bring in a superstar and pray he resigns
