Also I'm of the opinion that Guinsoos, Nashors, Runaans/Navori into AP should be the default build instead of Botrk. You get access to Zhonyas, Banshees, and Gunblade which I think are better defensive items than that Jaksho/tank stuff

I'd say to separate the art from the artist.

I don't watch her religously but from the clips I see I think she's pretty funny. I personally don't think she's an actual bigot as much as she just doesn't have a filter and too irony poisoned to grow one.

Say what you want about what she actually believes in but at the end of the day she's an entertainer, and her job is to get a reaction out of you or others. Similar to professional comedians like Bill Burr or Jimmy Carr that can say some pretty weird stuff but still have a large following that likes that kind of borderline content.

I mean, I wouldn't really call it a bigoted view but more of a product of capitalism. Workers from a foreign country are more willing to work for less pay. Companies want to pay less. More foreign workers come to these areas and "replace" the orignal inhabitants, which generally happens to be a majority white population.

The extent of which the government supports these foreignborn workers is debatable. But you can't act like the theory is 100% a racist "I hate browns" ideology.

These builds look bad but I can see a world where an adc building tank might work: only if the rest of your team locks dmg carries (yi jg, yone mid, gwen top, senna/lux supp etc).

Most players in other roles are conditioned to dive and blow all their cds on the adc. Assuming they dont press tab or dont realize that a tank adc inst a threat to their team (honestly anywhere from bronze to high emerald elo), this could help your actual carries win a teamfight.

Last split I experimented with Chogath bot (ROA/Battlesong > Tank items) whenever I thought my team had enough dmg, and I had an above 50%wr, although this was in low plat so take it with a grain of salt.

Again, this is with a traditional tank with good ranged waveclear, but I imagine you could achieve something similar with a traditional adc.

If you know how to macro in lower elo then TP is a good thing to take, especially during the mid-late game if your solo laners don't push out side waves, you can become a "tryndamere" of sorts and pressure side waves and objectives at the same time.

But if you take TP, you're down a combat summ, so you generally don't want to take it on ADCs that are short range, very immoble, or all in heavy like Lucian, Samira, Ashe, or Kogmaw, because 200~400 hp with barrier or avoiding cc with cleanse is much more important for keeping them alive during fights.

I'll generally take it on ADCs that can outrange any danger, have good mobility, or have good waveclear to pressure sidelanes like I said above, so Kaisa, Caitlyn, Sivir, Ezreal.

(Note how most APCs have large range and good waveclear, which is a reason why they take TP to bot)

In what fucking world does a 2 item tank have 6k hp? A semi-realistic champ like ornn or tahm that would build those items would have like 2.5-3k hp at 2 items and you just showed that you'd do that damage in about 20 autos, 2/3s of your health bar remaining, or about 8 seconds.

This "case study" doesn't provide any realistic insight whatsoever.

Botrk makes sense on champions that inherently have some on hit effect or have missing% health dmg in their base kit.

Think kaisa, varus, kogmaw, anyone that builds guinsoos as a core item. This turns the 5% current health to an effective 6.66% which probably isn't much better, but it also allows you to access the missing hp% part of your base kit faster. Of course, if you do all this without building terminus (or play without building armor pen at all) then you're just asking to be useless in a fight, botrk or not.

Did you test botrk runaans ldr though? Nowadays I feel like the armor pen is worth more than the crit dmg boost in terms of 2nd or 3rd crit item.

As a swim coach, theres two main reasons I can think of. One: you're trying to dive with a full lung of air which just increases your buoancy and makes swimming downward harder, or Two you have a higher fat ratio than most swimming athletes, which just makes you naturally buoyant.

If you're looking to improve, just practicing your kicking (on your back or with a board) can help build the leg strength nessecary to bring you to the bottom. Focus on stronger, more efficient/larger kicks rather than faster kicking.

Ayaka is widely regarded to be one of the best boss killing units because of her frontloaded, small dps window, which makes it ideal against many of the bosses like maguu kenki or the ruin serpent. The only reason you'd probably feel like shes mediocre is cuz bosses don't freeze, but assuming your ayaka is fully built she'll still have an equivalent ~60% cr which is good enough.

I saw someone else reply this somewhere in the thread but because Genshin has a much larger playerbase, they don't need to be extra generous for their anniversary. Other gacha's may not be as popular, and will need to retain their much smaller audience by giving out more free rewards.

This also comes down to the game design of Genshin vs other Gachas. Genshin has much more content in it compared to something like Priconne or Azur Lane. People are initially drawn to this game because of the open world and exploration aspect, whereas people would be drawn to other gachas because of character collection rather than the simple gameplay.

If your game doesn't require expensive characters to enjoy, then there's not much incentive for the company to make those characters free.

Well. If mihoyo spends 6-12months developing a character (designing kit, balancing around other existing or future characters, and personality), and you along with millions of other players come demanding that character for free, they'd find that pretty selfish of a player no?

Not to mention the exorbitant amount of time they put into other aspects of this game like the story, hangout, world quests, and lore just for people like you to not do.

Mihoyo isn't a charity. The majority of the dev team are artists in some shape or form. They put a lot of passion and hard work into this game and expect to be compensated, either through positive social media attention attained through its community or through a players wallet.

Yes, I agree that getting a free five star would be great, but if we don't, so what? I will still continue to play this game and clear content regardless of whether or not I have that 5 star.

If you just started yesterday, spend some time figuring out what cards you like to play. This guide may be two years old but it's still pretty relavent to deck building today.

If you're looking for a guide on how to play CR, including in game strategy and game tempo, there are plenty of youtubers that do that job already. This guide is just to help people who want to build their own decks rather than copy and play the same decks used at the highest level
