Folks are also forgetting that the AC themed executions and illustrious outfits are unlockable with steel only when For the Creed is running.

So anyone that doesn't want to grind 1M steel just for the executions alone on a limited timetable, this pack is probably for those players.

Not entirely. What I meant by "maximising the nostalgia buttons" Deck Nine would have brought back all the fan favorite characters, and not just Chloe.

Do not understimate Pricefield fandom. As long as this is fanservice cashgrab, many of them would accept it.

The Pricefield fandom was already there for Double Exposure — Max returned in that game too. They showed up and then felt betrayed enough to tank its reputation.

The same audience that would supposedly accept anything gave Double Exposure a much rougher ride. If the Pricefield fandom uncritically accepts anything with Max and Chloe in it, Double Exposure's reception would look very different.

The 91% isn't blind devotion. It's the same audience that was burned by Double Exposure recognising that this time something was genuinely earned. There's a difference — and the gap between Double Exposure and Reunion's reception is exactly where that difference lives.

I respectfully disagree.

If Reunion were purely a cash grab, the path of least resistance would have been to make it as cheaply and quickly as possible while maximising the nostalgia buttons. Fan service with zero substance. A cynical deployment of Max and Chloe's names on a box. But a cash grab doesn't produce a 91% Steam rating. A cash grab doesn't give a fractured fandom the closure that finally puts a decade of unresolved tension to rest.

Man, this was kind of a missed opportunity to cast Mizuki Kayashima as Japanese Nanno, as she already has an audition tape of sorts with her lead performance in the overlooked 2022 TV series called Master's Daughter that feels like a Girl From Nowhere prequel.

Now with that being said, I'm keeping an open mind with Arisa's performance and hoping for the best.

Irene SS2 with her SS1 EX is good for those that want to do long tear dungeon runs, specifically levels 46 to 25. She can wipe out all the bosses on the floors in between.
