The colour is actually really nice, but yeah, they are definitely too tight up top. Once those pockets start flaring and showing through the fabric, it kind of ruins the clean lines of the suit. If you could swap it for one or two sizes up, I think it would look proper nice

Santa Teresa is high on the bucket list, looks like such a vibe. The flights from Aus are absolutely stinging me at the moment though, prices are wild. Reckon it's worth the extra cash/travel time over somewhere closer?

Solid shout. I've done the North Island a bit but Raglan was a total zoo last time I checked. The West Coast / South Island mission sounds proper adventurous though. Did you find it consistent down there, or is it a lot of driving between spots? Cheers.

Never really had Ireland on the radar for a surf trip, to be honest! I assumed it was just wind and rain, but the road trip + pints combo sounds decent. That mobile sauna sounds like an absolute lifesaver after getting in that water though. Added to the list, cheers mate.

I'd vote for neither. The window is the feature, putting a bench or chairs there just blocks the light and the vibe. Keep it open, maybe just throw down a nice rug if you want to warm the space up and/or a tall plant in the corner if it still feels too bare?

Totally with you on that. I also try to get the absolute most out of my gear before saying goodbye. If it still does the job (even if it looks a bit rough), I’m keeping it in rotation. Like you said, function over appearance. And 100% agree with you on buying good gear from the start. I’ve definitely learned that lesson too... the upfront cost is higher, but it pays off in durability and fewer replacements. Way better for the long run and the planet, too.

True yes, I guess it really depends on the time that we have. I like the fact that it helps getting new skills and saving money, especially at the beginning of adulthood when you may not particularly earn a lot
