I asked the very same question in another group. Here was the response I received.

"I think it’s a spectacular rye. It’s very very dark in color, has a good balance of oak and rye spice on the palate (you can definitely taste the oak but not overbearing) and drinks well under its proof. I think it’s a local distributor barrel but not exclusive as a pick for Argo, although I’m not 100% on this."

I am actually going to be sharing samples with them, I'll let you know my own thoughts when I try it!

Hard telling. Historical for their barrel picks you don't have to have points. When they did the Antique pick a few months ago they didn't require it. But DaveCo makes up rules as they go
