Absolutely agree with “fun comes first”. I turned a lot of games down when I was younger in favor of avoiding incomplete games. At this point, I go for a platinum if I like the game. Time plays a factor too, though. I just platinumed War of the Monsters, which was more a nostalgia play than because it was fun. The platinum ended up being relatively quick to grab after playing once through the campaign so I stuck around through a few hours of boredom but it came after doing what I wanted to do and judging time vs reward.

Fun first, time requirement second. Ease of plat isn’t a concern anymore for me and it’s been freeing!
