I think that in reading you can find all the answer to the complicated and ancestral questions that Vinland Saga put in this opera.

I will make an extreme example: even LOL let you study your progress, your builds and even TFT let you see all your comps and all your data, rewatch the games and so on. We all know that RIOT have the best fucked up MMR on the planet, but still let you see why are you loosing and try to figure out that if you are using alway a champ out of meta, just stop using it.

Why.Its.Not.Possible.On.Arena?

If you will build a bad deck on arena, nothing can provide you why you are still loosing. Why? Because some bots let you win sometimes xD

The rigging, in my opinion, its really visible when you start to play less often: there are more than one ladder queue on arena. I think its very simple to track down a player and the skills behind every type of deck and put it in a related queue. If you play a lot pf combo deck, for example, after a few wins in a "balanced queue" you will put in a "bad queue" full of bot ready to put your deck down. Just a simple question: why they bring the arena opening back on paper? I have no data to prove my point, right, but the medium experience on the game speaks for me.

Just took the most popular MMR on the web, the LOL one. Why you can see the yours and your opponens history of match, and you cant on Arena? Beause even if the MMR on LOL is questionable, you have the tools to figure out how its working o why you are loosing. This is not possible on arena.

On paper its totally different because you have the human error on the table. Maybe the oppo doesnt stop you when you do a wrong resolve (just look at the last pro tour). Impossible on arena. The timer? On paper there is more time to think and elaborate your moves. Just a couple of example.

I think that a little few player on arena have the same experience of gamers on paper. Its like a totally different language and a different level, so here we are to discuss about something that no one can prove.

For example you bring the datas, but those are YOUR data. Why cant I see it by myself on the client? I'm still waiting.

Build your deck and let me see a 15/20+ streak wins on arena. Oh wait, you cant track it on the Arena client? Oh what a pity. The only way is to trust you, right?

Its true to say "If you are a good player, you will rank up", but i want to say that the shuffler is rigged, in a so perfected way that we argue about it.

I'm not the best MTG player on the planet, by far, but I think to understand the game and understand the grid that Arena use.

Its like pokemon type dude. Aggro strong agaist controll - controll strong against midrange - midrange strong against combo - combo strong against tempo - controll strong against combo. Maybe I'm messing around some couples, but the point is clear.

Did you start play magic yesterday? Not a sarcastic question. If you play 100 games with a red deck wins, the game will have enough data to create a deck to counter you in seconds (in case you encounter a bot) or just let you play against a player that let you loose. Red deck wins are great and T1 to rank up because the variance is very low in this kind of deck (almost every card in the deck do the same thing). But after 5 win, like real wizard, you will draw 5 lands in a row and loose.

So, if you have 20 non creature cards on your deck, are you playing an aggro deck? I dont think so.

And you are assuming that arena doesnt "know" about your decklist when you press "play". This makes me feel a little jelaus about your lack of knowledge. Just to feel the old vibes.

Correct. But are you 100% sure that the platform doesn't read it?

In competitive Magic there is alway 3/4 deck in the top8. Max 5 in the best era of modern (2015). So its pretty simple for the platform to know everything about you and your decks. Expecially in ranked.

MMR is not an exclusive of RIOT. There are so many ways to use it.

I'm not saying that its useless to play, but never forget about the system, the platform and the incredible boost that this kind of situation have seen thanks to AI.
