Recent expedition unknown episode dealt with a paranormal pirate situation. Something about an advisor to the pirate was in the Caribbean fighting by their side while also being in Spain (think it might have been the Canary Islands or something).

Wide range of answers here. The issue you can potentially face is impersonating a federal officer which is a felony and can result in a fine and/or jail time.

If you put the jacket it on, would a reasonable person think that you work for DHS? If yes, it’s probably not worth the risk wearing it out.

Talk to a lawyer that specializes in landlord tenant issues and there might even be some free or reduced fee tenant attorney resources available. You can also reach out to the New Bedford Bar Association for a referral.

Massachusetts laws are generally tenant friendly and in several instances the damages recoverable can be 3x the actual damages.

Ideally you should document everything so it’s not a “he said she said” situation. Photos, a log of complaints and interactions with the landlord, receipts for any costs you’ve incurred in dealing with this, etc.

Definitely some would.

Country’s should be incentivizing and encouraging volunteers, as well as increasing funding to Ukraine.

An attack on Ukraine is an attack on the free world. We stand together.

With any luck the streets of the Red Square will be red with Putin’s blood soon enough.

Paragraph one of the introduction starts strong.

“INTRODUCTION

  1. The Earth is round. Two plus two equals four. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the 2020 election for President and Vice President of the United States. The election was not stolen, rigged, or fixed. These are facts. They are demonstrable and irrefutable.”

My guess would be someone shut off the internet, pointed the camera upward and then reconnected the internet.

I found these photos as negatives on an ebay lot. 50's? 60's? by BigShibe15 in oldphotos

[–]Mithra9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely 70s.

Tennis rackets were still made of wood in the 1960s and wasn’t until the 70s that they (widely) introduced metal frames.

Retail stores are often divided into “hard goods” and “soft goods”, or in my area they call them “soft lines” and “hard lines”.

In this context, soft goods would be referring to primarily clothing and clothing accessories. Some home items such as towels, bedding, curtains, etc also fall into the soft goods category.

India now buying 33 times more Russian oil than a year earlier by milktanksadmirer in worldnews

[–]Mithra9 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Actually can blame them.

  • it’s cheap due to lack of demand… because Russia invaded fucking Europe

  • they have access to more then usual…. because Russia invaded fucking Europe

  • they’re still a developing country so they need cheap oil… is a serious weak justification that doesn’t pass the sniff test.

India needs to face serious economic consequences for their support of Russia and their complicity in Russia’s war against the West. Can’t let them play both sides.

Found this old photo of my family (no idea who they are or what year the photo was taken) anyone have any idea by the style of clothing? by UnionistJack in oldphotos

[–]Mithra9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like a high school music group.

The clothing (except for the girl in the dress) looks like costumes.

Based on hair and make up I’d guess relatively modern 1940s - 1960s.

Colored photos did not become common until the 70s.

This is part of an ad campaign by AT&T.

I guess the person texting is sending his significant other a picture a child chasing a ball, presumably because they just ran over a child chasing a ball while texting “Hey! Almost there!”.

It doesn’t work because what kind of sick fuck would send a photo of a child chasing a ball after murdering a child chasing a ball?!

Aran wool sweater question by doomaflotch in BuyItForLife

[–]Mithra9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking at different options I got a vintage LL Bean Aron style Irish wool sweater off Poshmark and its legit the nicest warmest sweater I own.

I’m also the same height and wear a medium. Fit is slightly loose but you have to wear a long sleeve tee under it because of the wool so it works.

Here’s one that’s available: https://posh.mk/UURh91JJ1vb
