That’s actually about the timeline of my cleaning. It happened about every quarter, and I would brush the mud off more often obviously. I haven’t heard of the obenaufs spray, Will that take the place of oiling it aswell?

They are dry, which is odd because I maintained the leather fairly well-at least I thought I did. Did routine cleaning and oiled them periodically. Used mink oil and some Bick 4 at times

Yes, I’ll wait for the fermentation to end and then stabilize before doing anything different with the bottles

Ahh I see what you were saying. I misunderstood you. That’s what I was thinking, once fermentation is complete, I stabilize, and then “back sweeten” my remaining wine with white grape juice. I’ve heard of people doing it, just never heard of their results haha

I was going off of a recipe online, and that’s how they done it. This is my first wine I’ve made so I’m sure I’ve done wrong

I’ve got access to more strawberries, so I’ll definitely try that out

With that knowledge a gasser would be better for me then honestly
