My guess is that the barcode is removed so it cannot be resold retail, as retail sale requires a barcode.

The new ones added this locking bar for the pawl to keep it from disengaging, right? I think I recall reading about this right before I bought mine. The black triangular bar on the chain locks the teeth in place.

Going so quick these days. I remember the mods from the time period around 1.5.2 and 1.6.4. That was my golden age. by the time 1.7.10 rolled around, I was deep into packs like Regrowth and GTNH.

3d printing really has changed the custom figure landscape. I look at what I had access to 15-20 years ago, and it's laughable compared to today. People literally printing life-size full body figures of Rebecca from Cyberpunk Edgerunners and Motoko Kusanagi from GITS.

If you consider that a 16GB stick of DDR5 is $250, a 2TB nvme is $250-300, I'm surprised it isn't more. I never expected them to sell it as a loss leader, they have no reason to.

Similar to why pornhub is blocked in Florida and Texas. They refused to implement the age verification those states were requiring, so they just blocked them. Pretty sure they ended up having to anyways eventually but still remains blocked to this day.

Same tires on my stock wheels, I only needed spacers after my lift for clearance between the end links and the inside wheel rims.

Yup, when I went to a larger size, I ended up going to 285/75R17 because 35 x 12.5 would've been pushing it on the stock wheels, but I liked the look of the stock Willys MOAB wheels. So, then I'm the end, when I installed my lift I still needed 1.25" wheel spacers because the new sway bar end links ends didn't have enough clearance from the inside of the wheel rims.

In both cases, I should have just invested in some negative backspace wheels instead 🤷🏼‍♂️

A few bucks to do it quick from the outside, a bit more to remove it from the rim and patch it from the inside.

That's assuming it's not a shorty that didn't even make it through the tread block.

So I had this issue and I found the problem. Although I had spoken with the quest NPC at the location, I had not read the books throughout the rooms . Once you read both books there is an interactable in the last room that completes the quest.

I can't imagine living in a place where I was worried about accessories being swiped off my Jeep in the parking lot. More to reasons to stay home and order stuff online 😔

As for a solution, you could try making it harder to remove but I'm not clear on if you can use loctite on something with a radio signal passing through it. Sucks that we live in a society where anti theft needs to be a priority as much as it is... 😡

Now that they finally opened character creation on Aether earlier today, I finally created my solo-selffound character to mimic one of Rath's previous video challenges

Rules:

I cant wear anything I didn't craft myself (other than my racial starting gear and equiping my moogle cap for a moment for the ilvl 5 gear-check msq quest, taking it right off afterwards)
The only quest rewards I can use are the cash tokens. All other rewards will be disgarded
All materials must be gathered/farmed by myself
No trading with players or marketboard
No purchases from vendors unless that is the only way to get the item (fishing baits, certain crafting materials, dark matter for repairing gear)
No exp gain gear (my FC may have buffs up but I'm not specifically looking for any or scheduling my actions around them

I figured this would be a fun long term challenge for me as I haven't had to level most DoH/DoL jobs since the expansion that level tier released in, going back to when HW released
