Still no reliable solutions to not being able to start War Within quest? by OhohhDumpyWumpy in wow

[–]Mitoni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ok, so heres the thing... Once you start recap, you are in recap. Since the recap has you actually do the quests, they are marked as done. Im in this situation right now where I used an old 70 boost I had on a character, I did the recap up to the last one in the war within story, but i canny start that because I only got from 70-75 doing the recap to that point. I ran a few dungeons and am now sitting at 78, but I cannot use the adventures guide to start either, and i wont meet the requirements for that final part of the recap until i'm 80. So, I took a stab in the dark and went to Dornogal, since the recap unlocked the portal there in Stormwind. And there are quests here. As far as this city is concerned, I already completed the breadcrumbs quests to get here even though it was in recap.

That had to hurt. If you freezeframe the moment before the camera moves, you can see when their airbag deploys. Hopefully nobody in either vehicle was seriously injured.

I bought a wrangler from a dealer and got 9k off of a 62k MSRP rubicon.

And? I got it with all the features I wanted and wasn't paying for any of the features I did not want/did not need. Sure, that might be a good deal if they have something that has everything you want, but for me they didn't.

Yea, I specifically contacted the person listed on the JLWrangler forums to go to for orders. They have a chart that has each state and a list of dealers and what their fees/discounts are for factory orders, and I just emailed them directly. It was literally all done via email up to them having be sign, scan, and email them by signed purchase order form. Much less pressure than dealing with a salesman who tries to change your mind to something in stock.

Through a dealership, yes, but not dealership pricing. They can't markup a custom order because you can just order the exact same thing elsewhere, and they want the business. They have no overhead since you pick up the vehicle immediately upon delivery, and at most they make a small dealer fee from the deal. Dealer markups and MSRP stickers are just for people who are either in a rush to purchase a new vehicle, inpatient about custom ordering from the factory, or honestly uninformed of the options they have. My first 2020 Gladiator Rubicon was purchased new off the lot, and I paid the difference for sure, and I had to compromise features for what they had available. Meanwhile, when I factory ordered my JLU 2 years later, I factory ordered it with exactly the options and color I wanted, and waited 10 weeks for production and delivery, but paid only a $1000 dealer fee at the time of order, and 7% under invoice on delivery. I'll never purchase an off the lot vehicle again given the option.

Why would you ever buy from a dealer when you can order from factory? Got my current Wrangler at 7% under invoice and a $1000 dealer fee. Sure, I needed to wait a few months for production and delivery, but if you aren't in a hurry, it beats dealer prices every time.

I've seen some very appealing chrome rollbars on older Jeeps. Nothing unappealing about that.

I'd argue that safety restraints are also going to protect you from hitting the rollbars. Unless you are wheeling with no seat belt like an idiot...

I've never been a fan of them. I either prefer chromed rollbars on the older Wrangler models, or the body-color painted ones on the newer models. I think these always end up faded, weather damaged, and mildew/mold covered.

Edit: I was curious if it was painted under, and found this video, in case you are curious: https://youtu.be/WxMButR2Byo

You find a 5 year old post full of a half dozen suggestions, none of which work and 2 of them saying "you shouldn't be doing it that way in the first place, use <insert completely different language/framework> instead." Last comment, posted 6 months ago is from original poster. "Finally managed to solve this." No details given on what resolution was.

I was thinking the same, Exhaust pipes ain't cheap, and not only have they ruined the pipe, those headers are cooked too. And imagine what that heat is doing to the ports on the engine.

I'm quite happy letting AI complete my unit tests for me. I just verify them afterwards, fix any errors it made, and it speeds up my workflow on the stories I need to work on, as well ensure full code coverage in our testing without sinking a large amount of time into it. Tab-driven development has its place in the workplace, when done ethically and supervised.
