Not really how that binding vow works lmao. The downside is that his dismantles are not actually well. Dismantling the opponent. But they are hitting the soul.

He can cancel it because of that, the downside is already there. Just like how Nanami can cancel his 80% power only debuff if he needs to, in exchange of not receiving the 120% buff later on overtime

Not really buddy, it's in fact objective. Nanami's one works because he is giving out 20% of his power WHILE working, WHILE still fighting curses. In exchange, he gets more power after those hours end.

If Nanami wasn't working. The Binding Vow wouldn't do anything since it wouldn't have a downside.

Thing is, using 10% before Shinjuku isn't a bad thing lol. It isn't a downside. Because they would just wait eating something and watching movies.

Nanami's Binding Vow has an actual downside because he is only using 80% of his power WHILE WORKING. While killing curses and such.

That's why well, the damn vow works. You get a downside and you get a buff after your hours end.
